Noisy! If you want a good night's sleep. Forget about this place. This is not the place for you! Walls are thin (you can hear every movement and creak in the neighbouring rooms) and the hotel is in the midst of the hustle, bustle, active vibe of surrounding pubs, restaurants, bars etc. Very worn (repairs and replacements required) Gosh did the room need some attention! The bathroom door handle struggled to turn, so very difficult to access and close the door. Especially when trying to do the right thing by the hotel and following their safety instructions by closing the door properly when showering to prevent the steam setting off whatever safety measure in place, or face and up to 10k fine! Shower door also could not close properly and closest to closed it could get was ajar, thus having water drip out of the shower. Lacking check-in service Albeit I turned up a bit past midnight. When I rocked up, there was no staff to be seen. Understandable, it's late, I'm not expecting a red carpet, maybe they're in the back and monitoring the security cameras, or maybe I need to ring a bell to get their attention? None of the above. No person in sight, no staff popping out to eagerly welcome me and ensure a smooth check in after standing there for a min or so. With no bell in sight, no info at reception, I was left to loudly ask if someone was around, to which immediately a man popped out. No apologies, no warm greeting, just scurrying to the reception to ask me how he could help.

Nice location but you get what you pay for. Unfotunately it is not very sound proof. Kept up bothe nights due to road noise and espeically loud bass music on the Saturday night from a nearby bar, and yet i was up on one of the top floors!! Also they seem to lock the air con/heat control panels (unless it was just my room malfunctioning) but temprature was set and had to ask to get it changed . Even then it was still cold in the middle of the night due to low airflow. Unfortunately will not stay here again

The room was basic but had what was needed. The toliet was leaking and was told it would be looked into after checkout. No compensation given.

Good. Fan in bathroom not working. Was not repaired when requested.

Clean and tidy. Great location.

Safe hotel, secure place to store luggage, easy spot to find. Only down was the buffet breakfast wish there was better egg options and a cleaner look overall. Would stay again

Staff were very friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast was great, room was clean and comfortable but a bit small if staying more than a few days, only problem was we could hear noise from the room next door, great location.

Good location for my course, easy walk to transport and good foid options close by.

This is my go to hotel, when visiting Sydney, from regional. Absolutely lovely friendly staff, always go the extra mile. Close to the city transport, within walking distance.

Shower door didn’t shut properly and floor got very wet. Breakfast can be good or bad. If bad hot food cold couldn’t cut through hash brown. Television hard to operate. Remote batteries flat. Bed very comfy

Close to everything and just a short walk from central and the light rail . Staff where amazingly helpful

- noisy mid week music playing loudly past 1am - blinds don’t block out any light - room was stuffy even with aircon on made it impossible to sleep - Bed wasn’t made properly had to remake - Don’t have an aircon in the room if you can’t adjust the temperature, all you can do is turn it on or off. I shouldn’t have to ask reception to change the temperature in the middle of the night

It was a last minute booking, great price, nice staff, room is nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Walking to china town for a midnight dinner, back to hotel for a great sleep. Room is not too big but got everything we needed. Will definitely consider this hotel again every time stay in Sydney.

Pro - Close to world square Good price Near transport and food Con I email the hotel and ask if I can store the luggage with them as I will be arriving early. I was told in writing it will be stored in a room. It turn out to be the basement of the hotel where there is a metal rack to put the luggage. When i asked where is the room. I was told the rack is it. It's got a camera.The response was poor. I feel i was lied to. I had to spent extra $24 for a luggage storage at world square. Room sound proofing is pretty bad. I could hear everything that is inside the hotel. Water, People talking, Door closing. Barth room - someone need to review how the shower room was designed, shower door open outward. But it can only be open half way coz the hinges stuck. And the glass door don't close fully. So the water comes out when u shower. So yes they give u a towel for the floor. But since the door open outward. It push the towel away so........ Show head is fixed. And since the space is limited, and no where to hide, u must get ur hair wet when u shower, since my wife just had her hair done, she didn't like it as that means extra time to dry it again and wash away the styling and product. The fresh towel that we were given had a orange stain on it. When called to get a new one was told house keeping staff is on break. Wait for 30 mins or come down and get it out self. It was around 10ish. Whole hotel only have 1 house keeping staff?

The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is always served hot and freshly cooked. So many places to shop and dine you can’t go wrong.

Its simply the best in its price point.
