Quiet little town on the river, convenient location for a night or 2 when driving up or down the coast. Room was basic & renovated, very clean & bed was very comfortable- a great stay

A great overnight stopover with.convenient access to the freeway. Close to a great pizza place and the RSL. The river is close by too. Rooms were clean and comfortable and check in was a breeze.

Averige accomodation

We had booked 2 rooms for one night, and were going to book somewhere else after our day trip to Sydney. We liked the place so much we booked the second night there as well. The owners have done a superb job of renovating each room. They were clean, tidy and well sound proofed. The shower head was one of the highlights (you will see) and the bed was really comfortable. I cant fault this place.

Didn’t think much of the property of a night time you can’t even see through Paul lighting cockroach infested only good thing. Was the beds were comfortable. Is the fleas won’t jumping on you.

A great little spot. Quiet. The hotel has had a recent revamp not a full upgrade but some nice artworks in the room, very comfortable bed with good quality linen and towels. Fridge, Tele and kettle . A noisy but very efficient reverse cycle heater. The place felt good and the people were nice. Close to well stocked supermarket and takeout.

We found this gem one night - very tired from the Pacific Highway - and 'any bed would do'. But this motel was not just 'any bed'....it was fresh, clean, beautiful little special touches like the feature walls, the mosaics, the peaceful setting - all run by a lovely old gent. The tradition has been carried on by the new management, and it is still a gem. Fresh, clean, and a retreat for a night..or two. I am a 'germophobe'...so it really means something when I say that this is one of the older motels where I am totally comfortable walking barefoot, and don't feel like I need to wear thongs in the shower. Waxing lyrical? Maybe. But only because it truly is a secret gem.
