We have never felt so unwelcome when checking-in to a hotel/motel.
The facilities were adequate, although bare floorboards in the bedroom area in winter were a surprise - whatever happened to the idea of a couple of floor rugs?
The receptionist was abrupt and unwelcoming at check-in - an attitude that was maintained throughout our 2 night stay . I would not recommend this property to anyone

The property was in good condition we had a large comfortable room but no cooking hob. The washing machine was free to use and $2 dollars ($1 coins) for the old drier which was pretty efficient. Parking was a challenge for the room we had with full size 4WD and some of our neighbours also had large utes requiring everyone to reverse in to expedite departure. Didn't use the swimming pool as it was mid June with overnight temps at 0.

We were on our way from Perth to the Southern outskirts of Brisbane and very tired. I booked online and when we arrived the lady at reception was friendly we said it was already paid she explained why she needed our card details that was fine.
The room had a jumbo tv that was great compared to where we are tonight.
It was a little squeezy to get in the bathroom and air con was old and noisy. We did turn off but the room retained the heat beautifully as it was 8° in the morning .
Would we stay again...? Yes we would. We didnt take photos sorry but it has a lovely European charm.

I guess it gets back to the term you only get what you pay for.
Firstly, we arrived early towing a trailer hoping we could leave the trailer until check in time and go into town for something to eat,only to be advised that you are way to early and the woman was pissed of at our arrival time. She finally agreed for us to unhook the trailer and
Then took her forever to find me, so I said I booked through wotif and I can give you a ref number.
She seemed annoyed that the booking was through wotif because it’s not Australian and the money goes over seas. Why sign up with wotif if you don’t like them ?
Our first impressions was that this person was very rude
Oh, and don’t be fooled with the nice pic on the web page ,If your not paying top dollar you get a room that obviously needs an upgrade as seen in the pics
Maybe she was having a bad day, but that’s no way to treat your clients

Greeting wasnt friendly at all. Freezer door wasnt on properly .lighting wasnt that good. Bathroom door was very narrow.location was good . Needed a few powerpoints near the bed on other side .
