Room was nice. People were lovely. Close to club for function.

We were given an older 2 bed apartment instead of a 1 new bed apartment (as per your photo gallery)we thought we had booked. The patio door wouldn’t close and the TV in our bedroom didn’t work

The only negative was the showers/toilets near the pool. The door wouldn't shut due to moisture expansion on the door. I would advise attention to fixing the doors for safety and privacy.

Absolutely beautifully positioned and appointed apartment. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Close to absolutely everything. We absolutely loved our stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and we are happy with our room (a 2BR and 2 bathrooms) overlooking the pool. The pool and sauna are great. The only downside was the gym because it was very small (our eldest son is a regular gym goer), and also the check-in time was 3 PM (not 2 PM like others), so we had to wait near the pool for our room. The location near the marina, Wollis, dining precinct and Two Bobs bakery (must have). We will come back!

First time at the Mantra Nelson Bay, nothing to write home about to be honest, premises had a nice pool area to swim, relax and soak up the sun, security, parking, and surroundings were great. On the down side, our room had a dodgy washing machine struggled to get it to work properly, dirty filter not sure when that was cleaned last, rusty portable cloth's racks, bed sagged badly im sure the springs were gone, wall clock the did not work. Slat blinds a couple were missing slat's, the room overall was only average could do with some new appliances and a mattress, a bit more attention to detail would have gone a long way. On the bright side, roomy, nice location, plenty of beaches to explore and things to do. 5 minute walk to shops, cafe's and bowling club. Staff were warm and pleasent enough :) it was okay.

The size of apartment suited our needs. Close to groceries, restaurants and shopping. Nice outlook to see sunsetting and pool. It needs a luggage rack so suitcases can be put off the floor. Good layout of furniture and had a good supply of crockery and cutlery in the kitchen.

All round decent place to stay. Nothing flash but value for money.

Excellent bang for the buck. Lots of space including a large kitchen. Nice pool and hot tub. Quiet place. Comfortable bed. Only issue was the wifi down for a full day.

Apartment was clean, crisp white sheets and nothing dirty with good amenities for a few days stay but common area carpets weren’t vacuumed in 4 days with leaves and bugs everywhere. Our room (18) had a stale smell like old cigarette smoke or something very damp inside and reed diffusers had been used to mask the smell. Our stay was ok but we were disappointed in our room. Location and staff were great

The washing machine smelt like fish had been spun in it. Could not use this and had to hand wash clothes. The button to switch from shower to bath did not work. My young son hates showers and water on his face so we had to do a sponge bath. The dishwasher door moved inwards down the bottom when opening it. Then a sharp metal piece stuck out. Could easily cut yourself and it was dirty and looked rusty. There was no internet the 5 days we were there. The toilet paper roll behind you is ridiculous with having to reach back to get it. Beds were comfy though and area clean enough. Balcony nice size with table and 4 chairs. New unit block being built near entry of the Mantra. In early stages at the moment but will be quite noisy as it proceeds along.
