Mercure Albury

My check in was an issue as the person who checked me in didn’t complete the process which led to someone else calling me to check when I was going to arrive. This was my third check in at the hotel and may first was challenging as my room key was given to another person, so I received a fright when the attempted to my room with me in it. Staff were apologetic but 2 issues out of 3 stays is concerning. Also the pool is a little challenging when entering or exiting for someone older as their is no grab rail.

It was good place as it was very close to the main shopping area. The hotel was very out dated and old. The curtains had holes in them, bed side lamp wasn’t working, toliet seat was damaged and a/c wasn’t even working perfectly. I don’t think I will stay there in the future or would recommend anyone to stay there

I drove back to hotel about 10.30 first night, no parking space within carpark. I had brought relatives to stay, 2nd night,26/1 my nephew was locked out of his room b ut all his belongings were still in there, nobody informed him. So no answer on either phone number for out of hours. Then had to find him accomodation at 11pm Sun night - NOT IMPRESSED

Everything a expected, no issues.

Staff were extremely helpful, I had accidentally set the wrong date for the booking however everything was sorted out by the staff. Breakfast was also excellent.

Looking a bit dated but well maintained. Comfortable stay.

It was advertised as having a jet bath and there wasnt one only a shower, restaurant staff were rude and we were basically told it was too busy for us to have dinner there. There was stuff missing from the minibar which i had to let staff know on reception so i wouldnt be charged for it. The people on reception were lovely and the guy made a note on my account

The man who checked me in was so lovely and helpful. The property was clean and the room was really comfortable. Loved the stay here! Thanks crew!

Central location

It was clean, convenient and adequate for our 1 night stay

Great easy stop along the hwy as we travelled through. Staff were friendly, room was clean. Room service was great and fast! They do a really nice breakfast downstairs in their restaurant. Hotel is in a great location to explore the town on foot. We had a great stay!

Good location and room was clean but the mature reception staff did not have welcoming face. Forced smile, cold behaviour.

Quiet clean hotel in a convenient location central to Albury

Very basic. The lift was broken which was annoying. The staff at check in and out were not overly friendly.

The hotel is going through refurbishment and the experience of staying there was impacted by this. After booking the accomodation, we were informed that the lift was being serviced. Even though I rang and was told we would be put on the 2nd floor; on arrival we were informed that we were on the 3rd, which was 'fair walk' with luggage. Our room was nice but there was no kettle and no phone (thus had to walk down 3 flights of steps to inform them). There appeared to be a shortage of staff in the bar/dining area - they were friendly but clearly rushed the entire time). Management needs to be doing a lot better.

Booked into 4th floor room. Lift was out of action. After arriving late having to climb 4 flights of stairs was not appreciated.
