Amazing relaxing stay with Platinum International, the staff are friendly and the Manager Thomas is exceptionally kind and welcoming, attending to all of our needs. The roomservice is great with beautiful tasting dishes, shout out to Nik the chef. Coffee, shopping and hospital all within walking distance. Highly recommend for short and long stays Looking forward to staying again. Kc 😊

Check in on Friday was good, but pool closed for cleaning. Still closed Saturday morning when sign said opens at 9. (Who cleans the pool on the busiest days of the week anyway) I went to the office and asked the manager Thomas when it would be opened as my granddaughter was upset because she still couldn't use it . I asked in a jovial tone, and he retorted in a matter-of-fact manner and then continued to be completely condescending and then tried to dismiss what I had heard him call me, so basically called me a liar. I have never been treated so poorly in an establishment ever. As a regular traveller for business I have never been insulted ever until now. And in taking approximately 1 week per month over 25 years staying in hotels, have I ever left a bad review either. Then to top it off, out of no where, (except maybe guilt) I received notification that I would get a $100 reimbursement in 2-5 business days. Nearly 4 weeks later hear some excuse that it has to come from my booking agent who have no idea about this, even though my statement clearly shows Platinum took my money. Obviously this guy needs some training in customer service or a job that he likes as clearly he isn't happy here. I don't even care about the reimbursement, you can keep it. Lessen learned - I would never stay here again!

Stayed 2 night @$330 a night and didn’t get clean dry towels, can’t room dry towels in pouring rain. But the worst part was a massive wet patch on carpet outside of bathroom. Carpet soaked and tge stench in room was terrible. Reported to management within 2 minutes of entering room, no solution offered or sought, no offer of room change, no offer of compensation in the way of a reduced rate, except they did offer me a “towel”. Won’t be in a hurry to stay there again unfortunately.

We thought that the property was good. It was as expected but no more. What we didn't like was being told at reception that we also needed to provide a $100 deposit/bond in case we damaged anything. We understand that they need to protect themselves and there property but had rung them 3 times to confirm and clarify some things and this was never mentioned.

Great place and their dinner was delicious! Recommend the crumbed lamb cutlets!

If the expectation on the guest is to keep the room clean then the room should be clean to start with but the carpet was filthy. If you put signs up telling guests what to do and not do then make sure the English is correct. As a guest I have a an expectation of a clean room and not be treated as though I don't know how to leave a room with large signs taped to the wall. I felt very uncomfortable at this hotel.

Great location

I was surprised to find that the restaurant is not open on a Saturday night so don't plan to dine in on a Saturday night ! Great location directly across from the shopping centre.

Had business in Toowoomba & have stayed here a few times. Will definitely stay again.

Not quite 4-star quality which I have come to expect from other professionals e.g. shoddy patchwork on a wall (too cheap to sand and paint it), cups/saucers but bamboo teaspoon (too cheap to provide metal in a 4-star motel), barely 20 squares left on the toilet roll (too cheap to provide a full roll), just half a dozen tissues in the dispenser (too cheap to provide more tissues)

For a motel with such a high rating we were disappointed. The motel was in a very convenient location, next to a shopping centre. The receptionist was lovely but our room overlooked the carpark.Our room was well equipped but the lighting in the room was quite poor and the bed was not very comfortable.The shower was good. There wasn't any internet for our whole stay despite asking for it to be rebooted.
