We requested a late checkout on the online booking for a truck driver on his 24 hour break which wasn’t granted unfortunately.
Windows in the bathroom are kept open which makes it noisier with the police station behind the car park.
Clean, recently renovated, small room but good for an overnight, excellent air con.

A beautiful property in an incredible part of the country. The hotel is large enough to feel luxurious, yet small enough to feel intimate & comfortable.
The rooms were a great size & very well appointed with a good shower & everything you need as a traveller.
The restaurant was fantastic & food was beautiful - really highlighting the produce of the region.
Definitely would stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised byvthe Gem, obviously has had a major refurb and our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff all friendly and professional. Had a decent dinner and were very well looked after by Mr Italy and Ms Ireland, sorry we didn't get your names!

We had an accessibility room to make it easier for my wife to move around in the moon boot. The bathroom had little space to place our toiletries, we had.a virw to the police station and rail line :(

Stay was great. Only a few little things that added up that took it away from me giving 5 stars. For example, room could have been a bit cleaner... few random hairs around the toilet if you know what I mean. Also we were a family of 3 staying in the room and only 2 towels. Also train station was right behind the hotel so was very loud at night. But overall great place. Rooms were modern with nice amenities. Even had makeup remover pads! Also heaps of great walkable options for dining and shopping centre with Target and chemist only a 5min walk away.
