The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of the railway station. The facilities were clean and modern and the front desk was very helpful.
However, the AC didn’t work as it was still heating season, and it was sweltering hot in the nights during our stay (temperature in the 60s). We were advised to keep the windows open, but that didn’t help much. The front desk was kind enough to supply a fan after we complained, and it helped a little bit, but not much. Room cleaning was horrible - they didn’t refill the bath soap and we ran out of it during the 3rd day of our stay.

The room was right in front of construction site. When I got the room key, there was no warning. I am sure a lot of people have complained before so it should have been much appreciated if the front desk told me up front.

This hotel seems like it would be convenient because it’s close to the main station, however, it’s about as far from old town as you can get and outside the main station is just nasty. The hotel in and of itself was clean. The worst part of the stay for us was the construction on the huge building being built next door. Nowhere on the website or when booking did it mention that the lot literally right outside our window would have construction from sun up to sun down. It was so loud, but when we asked to be moved, they switched us to a much smaller room so we decided to just stay and try to play noise in our room to be able to get any sleep past 6am. I’m sure it’s fine when there’s no construction, but it was super disappointing overall. The phone in our room didn’t work either so Everytime we needed towels or a blanket, we had to walk down and back.

Had a great stay here, the staff were very welcoming, room was large, comfortable and really clean. Very close to bus and train station. Within walking distance of old town about 20 mins. A great base to explore Salzburg.

Our first room was dirty, with pubes and hair on the bathtub. We asked to change rooms and they gave us with a slightly smaller bed, after saying it was the last room “of the same category” they had. The new room still had some hairs on the tub, and the fridge had mold inside. The window has poor sound isolation which combine to a massive construction zone just outside made for a “good” alarm clock at 7:30am.
All in all the hotel is in pretty bad shape, the hallways were dirty with confetti and other visible garbage, which suggests it wasn’t vacuumed at least since New Year’s Eve (one week before our stay).
On the bright side is the staff, that tried to solve what they could and offered a discount to compensate for what they couldn’t.
At the current status, I would rate it as a 2 stars hotel at most.

We spent Christmas hare in 2016 and the property was amazing. We came back to Salzburg in 2024 Christmas and this property was so unappealing. This really well cared for hotel in 2016 has declined in to a cheap bus stop kind of motel 6 feeling. Stains on the rug…room didn’t feel clean…the check in was not welcoming and we were charged $175 euros for services that were complementary the last time…it felt like a cheap hustle to make a buck…certainly not a place to spend Christmas. We immediately booked another hotel so we didn’t have to spend another night in this flea bag hotel. Enough said???

The hotel tried to double-charge me. Lucky that after paying at the check in, I looked into my booking records a few month back on Expedia and bank transactions, and realized I have already paid for my stay. I want back to them and got the payment reversed. Phew!

This is a bad hotel. Did not honor our two-bed reservations in four separate rooms, and wasn’t interested in assisting, explaining, or compensating when we told them of the error. Adult family members who should not be sharing beds with one another were asked to do just that. Each room comes with exactly 2 limp pillows, 2 threadbare bath towels, a squeeze bottle of shampoo/shower gel combo affixed to the bathroom wall, and a TV with no signal.If you request housekeeping services, they just pull the comforter up on your bed and walk out - they don’t replenish toilet paper, glasses, or towels or empty trash cans. This is a poorly managed hotel filled with apathetic staff who are bad at their jobs.
