I stayed with my family and mother in law in a room with a queen bed and two twin beds for just one night before our flight out of São Luís. The room itself was very strange because there was a huge window between the room with all the beds and the bathroom. There were blinds that could be open and close on the bedroom side. But we just kept them closed the whole time. And we ate well at the restaurant.

The hotel is in a good location and within walking distance to a shopping mall and a great Japanese restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel is really good.
The rooms can improve though. It had a musty smell as you enter. Not sure if this is throughout and we decided to stay as we had a balcony and it was only for one night. One would expect to at least have some tea and coffee making facilities in the deluxe rooms which there weren't.
I would come again as the pool area is a great place to relax.

São Luis does not have a big hospitality infrastructure so this is truly one of the best hotels. I've stayed there several times and this was the only time we had a problem.The staff is very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. The checkin process was confusing, our rooms were not ready and the one they tried to put us in was not very good, moldy with a broken air conditioner. After we complained they did put us in a beautiful suite. It's a well located hotel and you won't find better staff in the area
