Porto Salvador Hotel

Hope to have a better bed. Very important detail.

Toilet was backed up upon check in. Shower wasn’t working. No one spoke any English

This business should not be listed as a hotel, as it is a hostel with substandard conditions. We paid for a "Superior Triple Room" with a balcony, and were assigned a room that only had 2 uncomfortable beds and no balcony to speak of. When we tried to open the curtains, the curtain rod came crashing down, and the window flew open. The only way we could secure it shut was to use a strap from our own suitcases. Had we not done this, we would not have felt safe sleeping there at night or leaving our belongings in the room during the day. Our toilet seat came off the toilet entirely, and the toilet would not flush until we went across the street and purchased a bucket, which we had to fill with water from the shower. The power went out multiple times, so we were forced to take freezing cold showers, and the shower always overflowed. The quality and quantity of the towels were very poor, and the linens did not seem clean. There were no hangers available to hang our things. They advertise WiFi, but the connection was so weak that we could not use it. The most telling aspect of this visit was the fact that we saw an employee in the lobby wearing a "Hostel Porto Salvador" shirt. Exactly. This is not a hotel. It is an overpriced hostel.

Only the World Cup lack of rooms would get me to book here.

Paid for most expensive room at highest rate and then given cheapest hostel room and told no other rooms available to change. When asked for reimbursement was told owner wasn't around and staff not authorised to repay. Eventually had to threaten going to police and staff reimbursed 3/4 from their own savings. Think owner was intentionally overbooking and hoping we would just move on. Thank god his staff showed more humanity.

This place is not worth the price.... Not by far that is. True, it's the World Cup and everything is overpriced, but this hotelroom is at the most worth 1/5th of what we had to pay! Nothing nice about this place, so I'd say: Just don't go there....!

Otima localização, atendimento excelente

Pegamos apenas uma diária que poderia ser facilmente ampliada para mais dias. Pois, o hotel é bem localizado na praia do Porta da Barra, com quarto amplo e com varanda, a qual consegue ver a praia. Café da manhã muito bom. Atendimento ótimo.

Friendly stuff, clean room.

Ótimo hotel. Localização excelente. 2 min e você está dentro do mar. Restaurantes, farmácia, açaí, mercado, td pertinho. Quartos grandes e confortáveis e reformados. Me surpreendi com a qualidade deste hotel

Muito bem localizado. Funcionários prestativos e educados.

Boa localização, café da manhã sentir falta de mais opções como: pão de queijo, tipos de pães, bolos…

Hospedagem tranquila, em ambiente familiar. Viagem sozinha e me senti muito segura. Voltaria a me hospedar.

Quarto barulhento, toda movimentação da rua parece que acontece dentro do quarto.

Hotel confortável e com ótima localização!

Nos atendeu de modo geral, pois foi apenas uma diária, só pra dormir. Mas achei o quarto bem bewueno e imprensado. E as toalhas não estavam em boas condições, bem desgastadas.

Hotel incrível otimo lugar para passar alguns dias de ferias esse foi melhor do que o último que fiquei na mesma localidade bem limpo cafe da manhã otimo e muito próximo de um dos principais pontos turísticos de Salvador ano que vem tem mais

Fiquei no quarto que sobe as escadas, é bom, confortável, chuveiro cama, tudo bom. A claridade de manhã e o barulho dos hóspedes atrapalha que quer dormir, pois dá pra escutar as pessoas esperando para os passeios, como o quarto e claro, perde o sono. Mas não me atrapalhou pois fui mais para curtir.

Custo X benefício não vale a pena

Boa localização. Bom quarto. Café da manhã fraco.
