Best Western Prince George Downtown

Very clean and in great condition. No issues or compl.

My family enjoyed their stay, beds were a bit higher than usual for the kids which was a bit scary. But it was a wonderful hotel.

No hot water (there was only cool water at 8-9 pm and also at 8 am), breakfast was sparse with items that ran out (no bacon or eggs at 7:45 am) so I sipped my coffee and waited for about 10 min and still not refilled. And when I came back after showering, the coffee ran out (except the decaf) no creamer, no yogurt. But there was now bacon and eggs! Plus, someone’s long black hair was on the bathroom counter when we checked in.

The gentleman and yes one person was doing checkout as well as cooking the breakfast entries and was swamped. So.e idiots got mad at him for not being fast enough. Get more help in the mornings as this is nothis fault.

So glad Best Western took over. Bed was very comfortable. Previously Travellodge room was nasty when my family stayed here.

We had a terrible experience at Best Western Prince George Downtown. When we checked in around 8:00pm, we found visible stains on the bedding. Instead of apologizing or resolving the issue, the manager repeatedly interrupted us and insisted the only solution was a refund, telling us to find another hotel. He even said not to mention the bedding issue again. Even worse, the manager knocked loudly on our door twice—first, insisting on personally checking the sheets even after we had already shown photos, and later again while I was taking a shower, disturbing our rest and completely disregarding our privacy. This ruined our first night in Prince George and left us feeling dismissed, stressed, and disrespected as paying customers. A hotel should at least meet basic standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for guests’ privacy, but this location failed on all three.

It was a reasonable place to stay at. Since construction is going on down town, it has very limited parking to speak of. It has absolutely no real parking for larger pickups, as they are too long for the small lot and/or the garage area. I wound up having to park in a dentist office parking lot about 200 yards away. The room itself was a BW basic setup and the hotel was pretty quiet overall.

Great restaurant right next door and thoughtful staff suggestions about where to go for a close walk in the woods!
