Blue Bell Inn

Restaurants are at walkable distance. I like also the kitchnette.

The toilet didn't work. No toilet paper. Rug was really worn out Sheets on bed were smelly.

An old property but well equipped with kitchenette, lovely staff and great value for money.

Towelling & toilet paper were lacking on arrival, but quickly rectified by staff. We were quite satisfied with this Motel, it served our needs perfectly

everything was good all the basic expectations were met.

The man who checked me in was great and offered information about the area & places to eat. The room…it ain’t the Ritz-Carlton or something on 5th Ave in NYC! But, I knew that when I made the reservation. I was just looking for a place to stop for the night to sleep and it met my needs for that. The room had 2 beds in separate rooms & I closed the door to one because of the smell. Also,, the parking lot & area around the bldg was dirty and needs cleaned up.

The Blue Bird Inn in Fort Nelson is a great place to lodge. Their rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. Plus, it’s right off of the Alaska Highway and has a gas station on the property and a small conscience store too. The staff are friendly and know the area well.

They have a great way of explaining things kindly and understandably.

It was nice to have a full-size fridge and a table to eat at. The room was comfortable and quiet. It could use a bit of paint & updating but considering how reasonably priced it was, it was fine.

All in all the room was good. Bathtub is huge! One bed was a little hard, the other was great. Maybe invest in a few mattress pads. A few things to keep in mind while housekeeping, make sure carpet is vacuumed. Area where garbage is beside kitchenette had food splatter on the wall. Mirrors could use a proper cleaning. And walls could use a good wipe around the doorways and light switches. Other than that, staff that checked us in was friendly, funny and very quick in getting us checked in. Great guy! We liked the set up of the second bed in a room of its own. Other than that considering this little town has been swarming with travellers and firefighters due to wildfires in the area causing road closures and such, just stay on top of a few things while cleaning rooms. I'd definitely stay there again!

First time staying there, it was quiet, easy to find and access, clean and large bathtub!

The room service is inexistent. The guys who is supposed to do it look exactly as if he as sleep on a dumpster. Horrible.
