Older building needs more upgrading. Staff was not the greatest had an event at 1230 asked to check out at 12noon they told me it would cost $98 extra hour. The room needs upgrading good for 1 night sleep only. Old funky smell.

I like the bar at the hotel The Bruce; it's very lively and you end up chatting with other travellers staying at to the hotel.
