We showed up about 12 hours early ( due to winter travel conditions)and tried to do an early check-in and we didn't mind paying for an extra day ,but staff was unwilling to check us in early and tried to redo our entire booking for $20 more per night ( told us that's how their system worked and it couldn't be changed). We ended up having to rent the room at the increased rate in the morning and then had to check out in the afternoon and then check back in the same day for our booking which seemed ridiculous. Very rude staff on check in and using the hotel facilities. Unhelpful and very unsympathetic to winter traveling conditions. It is truly a shame because it is a very nice hotel.

Was fine. Some amenities didn’t work (pool hot tub and sauna were closed). Room was fine but bedspreads were dirty. The rest of everything seemed clean. Our tv and gas fireplace didn’t work. In room coffee was awful. Overall was fine for what we paid.

Room was very basic; no closet, a TV that didn't work, a very noisy in room heating unit, inadequate blankets. Yes the room and bathroom was clean and tidy. As an overnight 'pit stop' it's OK, but for stays longer than that - try a different motel

The check in lady who said she was brand new was excellent. She was super helpful and I never would have guessed it was her first week. The room was lovely and spacious. Nice size TV, good size bar fridge and a coffee marker with all the supplies. The swimming pool was way too cold to swim in but the hot tub was just the right temperature to relax in after a full day of driving. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in Valemount.

I like the layout of the room and lots of places to put your stuffs despite the small space. Glad to have the hot water dispenser at the lobby. And it would be awesome if they have dispenser to get filtered water too. But we managed to get filtered water from the Visitor Info across the street.
