Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thunder Bay

Its been a long time since ive stayed at a Days Inn and I certainty wont be going back. Upon walking in the room we were greated by a love seat with numerous stains.. absolutely gross. There was obvious marks in thr carpet next to couch where a side table had recently been. Numerous stains in the carpet and sone ground in food or something. At this point, whatever, the room was big, it was one night.. we went and got a blanket from the front desk to put over the stain on the loveseat. A few hours later I was going to lie down for a quick nap before dinner.. the bed sheets were stained, sticky, and there were chunks of something in the bed. We asked to be moved, which they accommodated, but still to be fair, a painto have to do Our second room was cleaner (or less stained i guess). There was no usb port in the room anywhere (really? In 2025?? I havent stayed in a room without a usb in probably a decade!). Luckily the desk staff had one available we could use. Overall, for just over $200, this was the most disappointed Ive ever been with a hotel stay. In the future i will stick to Hilton.

The carpet was stained, the TV was small, the toilet was small, the ac/heater was loud. Not worth the money

It was clean. I wished they had a pet friendly option for our next visit in Thunder Bay. Oh well.. A good place to stay.

It was a quick stay. Room was very clean and quiet. Hotel staff were quick and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The tub was not as clean as I would have liked it. There was hair and smudges on the tub.

Room was filthy dried spills on the rug, dried food on the coffee table.. told front desk twice nothing was done about it other than a sorry.

The pillows were awful. I booked this room to get a good nights sleep and they had three awful pillows that were like couch pillows. Most hotels I go to have these wonderful comfy pillows. Not this place. Kind of pillows you get when you stay at a friends cottage and they pull them out of the closet after 5 years. Never again.

Family room really needs upgrade.

The staff was wonderful and it was clean, but the carpets need to be redone very woren/ dirty. Hot tub was not very powerful. Very good breakfast. Beds where just ok, a spring was broken and caught my leg on it. For the price i was hoping for a bit more.

The room, and entire facility was mostly clean and pleasant. It did look like the carpet could use a cleaning, and the hot tub had some hair and a few floaters - although that might just be attributed to the person who was in it most recently. The pool area - not the pool/hot tub themselves, but the area as a whole - felt a bit industrial and was quite noisy, even when my wife and I were the only ones there. The jets on the hot tub provided very minimal pressure. We weren't sure if they were even on at first. The room was clean - other than the stained carpet - but even that had obviously been vacuumed well. The mattress was okay once I got positioned, but I could feel the springs as I was getting in bed. It was obviously a very cheap mattress. Breakfast was minimal compared to many hotels, but you certainly wouldn't go hungry. They had pancakes instead of the more common waffles. The pancakes tasted okay, but they were small and rubbery. I needed a knife to cut them. Other than that; lots of cereals and breads, yogurt, hard boiled eggs... There were no hot eggs.
