Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thunder Bay

King beds do not have fitted sheets. Just top sheet used as fitted sheet. Old dirty carpet. Wifi issues entire stay. Would not connect at all despite strong signal. Water tasted bad.

The pool and hot tub were great. The jets in the hot tub weren't working, but the temperature was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed by the breakfast - would have appreciated some protein like hot eggs, bacon or sausage. The room was nice and everything was clean. Lots of parking available.

Is a good

Quick and easy check in. Property is in need of renovating, the carpet is showing lots of wear and stains. Based on conversation, apparently a refresh is in the plans. Other than that, everything else was nice and clean.

Bad experience Bad Microwave and Evan broken sofa in the reception area. They shoud improve

Everything went well at check-in,friendly helpful staff. Easy to find off highway. Close to coffee shop and dining options. Large room. Suited our needs for the night. Microwave would have been helpful.

We live in Canada and a regular breakfast has bacon and eggs something that wasn’t offer on this stay

Staff was Great! Very friendly and called me to say I had forgotten an item so I could arrange for someone to pickup for me. I appreciate your kindness. The hotel needs a facelift, carpets and furniture in suite were dirty and dated, remote didn’t work for TV. Heating /air conditioning unit was very loud. Bedding was fresh and clean as was the room itself, housekeeping does a good job I would recommend however that the moveable furniture be moved and vacuumed under.

Room was rather pricey for what was offered. The room had a “funky” smell - couldn’t tell if someone had been smoking in it or was the cleaner used. Called front desk to ask about phone charger outlets - was told to check behind the bed (seriously!? - he was thinking electrical outlets, i hope). Found one in the back of the TV box. Pool was ok, except for the jagged piece of chlorine puck on bottom of pool - found that with the bottom of my foot. That hurt. The hot tub was more of a communal bath tub - warm but no jets. Tub also had fine gravely particles in it where you sat. Had fun watching the ants run around on the pool deck though, that was entertaining. The elevator floor was rather dirty and unattractive. Check-in staff were nice but definitely not the “A-team”. Does anyone do a walk-around at the start of their shift to check on these things? Just saying.

Not family-oriented

The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was well positioned and comfortable, the living room furniture was not in the best condition but still functional. Parking was easy and lots of things close by. I would stay there again.

Hotel overall feels safe but late night staff were no help when needed and everything is broken! Water cooler/vending machines then when you can find a working one it charges you 6 dollars per water! all in all not worth the money! there are wayyyy better alternatives in thunderbay!

It was central to all the places I needed to go.

I had to wait 5-7 minutes after I walked in for check-in, the customer service rep at the front was on phone. He saw me walk in, did not even bother to say hi or give me a moment, he was on phone the entire time. A couple eye-contacts happened but still no greeting, incredibly rude. He also proceeded to give me room keys while being on phone, this was honestly the most terrible experience I have had ever at any hotel. We checked in pretty late, so slept in the bed only to find out the next morning the sheets had blood on them. I noticed when I woke up in the morning and got out of bed immediately and checked out. I also took pictures. I will never be coming back.

We booked our stay there because last year we enjoyed the hot tub at the end of hard days. This stay the hot tub was down and no one seemed to know or cared when it would be repaired. It was also very noisy.

The breakfast was very good. Loved that in the same parking lot were a tim Hortons and Montana's. Short drive to Lakehead university, hospital and shopping.

The guy working in the evening wasn’t professional he didn’t explain everything properly whereas the girl serving other customers riya was professional

The hotel is so close to the college, movie theater, restaurants. Very convenient!

THE ONLY COMMENT I HAVE IS THAT THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM I HAD. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FABULOUS, BUT THE MICROWAVE WOULD HAVE HELPED WITH CUTTING DOWN ON TAKE OUT MEALS. OTHER THAN THAT, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE DAYS INN TO ANYONE!

Bed was terrible. Clean and nice location. Staff friendly.
