Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa Airport

Very close to the airport, easy to get to arrivals. Friendly staff, unfortunately the bathroom was not very clean

I actually left the hotel after my first night. I know it was prepaid and non refundable but I am no longer comfortable here. The front office staff who is always there when I checked in is disinterested - happens a lot and I have stayed here quite a number of time. The building maintenance employee is miserable at the best of times. I am usually greeted with the question "name?" when I check in.....it's cold and not friendly. There was a problem with the automatic doors when I entered but the maintenance fellow looked like if I was bothering him. I usually ask for a higher room away from the elevator and I certainly needed it this time....I got a room on the 2nd floor :(. I opened the door from the elevator on the 2nd floor only to find food scattered all over the floor. There were kids running down the hallway, playing with the elevators and running up and down the stairs. After a long drive, I did not need this. I have stayed at this hotel before - time for me to never return.

Stains in the tub, pool was closed and was not advertised as closed, kids were very disappointed. Would not stay here again, some staff were not friendly at front desk

The fan was too loud and noisy, if someone sleeps light, will not be able to have a good quality of sleep. Plus during breakfast, my daughter was eating a donut from their breakfast section, and she found a medium size plastic inside her mouth, that was sharp, when I told the front desk about it, he disregarded my concern and only replied it is the bakery issue and not theirs. If my daughter was younger she would injure her gym from that piece of plastics inside a donut. Don’t recommend the place at all

After my 4 hour drive, I arrived at an empty front counter. There wasn't any bell or way to call someone. After a few minutes, I stuck my head behind the counter and said "Hello". About a minute later as lady came out to help us. She appears to dislike her job as her attitude was unpleasant. I was tired so I decided to ignore it. The room i was given was relatively clean but there was hair in the drores and a few small pieces of garbage on the ground. The reason I gave it 1 star instead of 2 is that the pool was closed when I was there. When I asked an employee who long it has been closed, he answered "several months". I just checked the website and there is no mention of this. Due to the issues, I would avoid this hotel 7nless it was less than $100 a night and I was on a tight budget. I also found the breakfast lacking as there is no waffles, pancakes and the only eggs are hardboiled.

It's whatever you can expect from an airport Days Inn. It was perfect to take a shower, stay one night and take a shuttle to the airport in the morning, which is right around the corner. I picked this property because the Keg Steakhouse is right next to it. It was very convenient to have a nice dinner and walk back to your room.

Hotel was nice. Pool was closed which was unfortunate. The buffet breakfast could have had some more options like a waffle machine but it had a great variety of fruit.

Hotel is quite dated..but otherwise good.

Room was so cold when we got there. Took forever to get it warm. Pool was not able to be used. Upon check in the receptionist was not cordial or friendly. Will not be staying there again.

Overnight stay. No restaurant

The pool was closed and there was no notice or anything. Apparently has been closed for months. The kids were super disappointed. The AC was not working and our room was 78 degrees! We could barely sleep because we were so hot.

Absolutely terrible staff at the front desk. They were rude and very unprofessional. The room was not very clean, mold growing in the shower, and the pool was closed due to a non-working pump, creating very unhappy customers. The staff refused to help or even give us a heads up when we checked in. I will not be back and I will spread the word.

The pool was not open. We should have been told this prior to check in! We had a fully refundable booking and if we had known the pool was closed, we would have booked something else. I was told by a lady in line that she did receive an email that the pool was closed but they were a non-refundable booking. It seems very deceitful to only contact those who are non refundable and not the people who could have cancelled! I am hopeful that we will receive a partial refund, but have yet to hear back from the manager.

Clean and friendly staff, good breakfast with fruit, hard boiled eggs, and continental breakfast items.

Clean rooms, quiet and easy parking.

The only down side is the pool was closed during our stay and we were not notified prior to our arrival

Very nice front receptionist and rooms are very clean

Its pretty chill here. Very cozy.

Nice comfy beds and great to have The Keg in same parking lot.
