This hotel is in a great location close to the waterfront, restaurants and downtown Sarnia. You won’t get anything extra in your room like bottled water, coffee cream or body lotion but if you go in knowing this as I’ve stayed many times it’s still good. While not luxurious, it is affordable and quiet.

The staff was rude. I booked two weeks and got zero housekeeping, I asked for disposable cups and got spoken to really snotty desk person mon-Friday. They dud not clean my room or make my bed once and I got attitude because they don’t really have wifi and she could care less I have a disability and couldn’t figure out the “desktop” login while repeatedly chastising me telling me nobody ever has a problem with the wifi. She was a terrible person , made to feel like I’m a burden or unwanted at her hotel . Then she put an additional three hundred dollar insurance fee to my account for zero reason . It feels like they don’t want me here . I didn’t do anything. Rude.

Not what other Days Inn hotels are like. This one needs some maintenance and sprucing up. Beds are comfortable. Hotel is quiet. Hairdryer wall mount had come off the wall and the holes are stuffed with toilet paper. Dirty full length mirror. Grease stains on the shower handle. Location is good.

For the price you pay. You get a great room. Place looked a bit old when we first showed up but the room was modern and clean. Breakfast was great and I highly recommend this hotel

I did the pre check in as encouraged by numerous emails and texts but was still asked for ID when i arrived. What was the point of taking a picture of my ID and sending it if I only had to show it again when i got there. A bit of a waste if time in my opinion.

Door to outside kept getting stuck, keys took 3 or 4 tries to get in.

The hotel is quite old and was previously a motel. Although it has been renovated, the improvements are not sufficient. There is a lot of broken furniture, dust, and an outdated air-conditioning system. For a one-night stay, it’s acceptable. The bedding is comfortable, the bedsheets are clean, and the breakfast is good.

Kids running and yelling all hours of the day. I was overcharged for my stay, I booked with Expedia, I was overcharged $50 plus a number of separate fees and taxes.
