Days Inn by Wyndham Valemount

It was very enjoyable to stay there. We had a balcony which was great, however there were no chairs to sit on. So we had to supply our own.

The room was smelly the check in was slow and not very friendly and we were the only ones checking in. Also the TV didnt work.

We had a balcony view…that overlooked the indoor pool slide. The noise from the pool was very loud, the a/c unit was also very loud. The TV didn’t work but the bed was comfy enough

Great location

We showed up only to find out our special request for a crib was denied cause they didnt have one. They could have read the notes on file but waited till we showed up at 9pm after 6 hrs of driving. We had to set up our 1 year old on the floor. The carpets were disgusting through the whole hotel, and there was black hair all over the bathroom floor. Might I add the old socks in the room. The bed covers were not washed and smelled like mens deodorant. There was a bright light shining in our window from outside all night and our window coverings could not block it. There was old tape where someone tried previously. But didnt work. We were up at 2:30am because no one could sleep with the light. We left the hotel at 4:30am cause there was no point laying in bed with my back hurting and our baby adjusting to night shift. Staff blamed expedia, bullcrap. Take some ownership of your mistakes. They also said we had this problem previously. Well quit being so cheap and buy some cribs. Cancelling our return booking and never returning to this brand of hotels.

Pool

I booked this hotel for a motorcycle tour. It was the perfect location to be able to walk to restaurants and for the group to have some fun in the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend.

Front desk clerk would not acknowledge me for several minutes, then took a phone reservation while another customer just wanted a new key card. I asked twice for a second key card and both never activated. The pool closes at 9am and opens at 10am, we never got to use it, ridiculous hours.

Rms were clean, quick check in

Nice hotel, clean & friendly staff. When checking in, the staff advised me that they did not know I was bringing a dog, even though I made it clear on the reservation that was made roughly 90 days in advance. I appreciate that they still accommodated us, and didn’t turn us away, as we had been driving for 7 hours and were ready to unwind. There was confusion about 2 rooms being booked, I only booked 1 room, and again this misunderstanding was dealt with. Conveniently located next to Tim Hortons, which was nice, easy to get to for breakfast.

Basic place to stop and spend the night. A couple of food fast food places close by and gas stations in case you need anything. Hotel has seen better days but it was safe and clean enough. My nephew enjoyed the pool & waterside

Just did an overnight stay. The hotel is clean and the kids enjoy the pool

Fireplace didn’t seem to work. TV wasn’t working either so I was a little disappointed, but overall the stay was good.

Bed quilt had stains on it. Bubble gum and dust on top of head board

Good staff quick check in , needs up keep

We got a poolside room which we thought would be great for access through a sliding glass door. While this would be good, it also had its downsides. The pool is open until 10pm and can get a little bit noisy from the kids in the pool. So going to bed earlier is a bit challenging. Also the room that we were in had a older ac unit that was very loud. Another note is that the lights in the pool area are not turned off for quite some time after the pool is closed and the light comes through to the room around the black out blinds. We wouldnt accept the poolside room next time if we had a choice.

It was a ok basic hotel.

There was a variety of restaurant choices. Beds and bedding were comfortable.
