We have stay here for to night come everything was great except we didn’t buy breakfast. 5 min walk you can reach the Chinatown where with a lot of restaurants. Or, you can try cafe at hotel main floor . In room, mini refrigerator, coffee maker are provided. We had part of view of Bow river. Room rate is acceptable. Definitely come back when visiting Calgary again.

Staffs are friendly and helpful except one female restaurant staff on duty dated yesterday who was a bit unfriendly after front desk staff guided me to get a glass of warm water at the restaurant. She did not have to act so unfriendly. To be honest, l was a bit “ pissed off “ as there was not hot water boiler inside the guest room ! Others all good. We and another couples will check in again at this hotel between Oct 10 - Oct 12, 2023 and reassess again whether it is commendable to stay at this hotel to other friends who desire to visit Calgary in the near future. Thank you

6 -10 minutes walking distance to supermarket. Few homeless people 3 blocks away. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful except forgot to give me a morning call on Oct 12, 2023 which l had requested the day before ( late afternoon on Oct 11 ). Recommend to stay at rooms with the river view because the other side of the building has a nearly Fire Rescue Station, quite noisy.

In terms of the hotel, it was good. The check in was easy and quick, the room was clean and well kept. Dining at the hotel was great. Overall for the hotel, great service and a great stay.
The area around the hotel was a downside.
Nice enough buildings and landscaping around the hotel, but the hotel appears to be right next door to a fire station, so sirens were happening very loudly throughout the night. These woke myself, my wife, and our 1 year old up frequently.
Also, we felt a bit unsafe walking around the hotel due to the homeless encampment nearby (close to the river) and number of what appeared to be high or drunk individuals wandering around the area.
If it was just the hotel and we didn't leave the hotel, we would definitely stay again. However due to the area and sirens, we likely wont stay here until our child is a bit older.

Great location in downtown Calgary, makes it easy to walk to mall, restaurants, river and free tram service.
Hotel was modern with big rooms, nice facilities like pool, hot tub, gym and a sauna inside the changing rooms.
A bit disappointed by rooms not being ready at check in time and very slow housekeeping service. Also, the hotel asks for a high deposit of $100 per room per night, snd then is slow to release it, am still waiting for mine to be released 5 days later.

I am conflicted as it is a really nice hotel, but every door on my floor slammed when it closed. I was woken up repeatedly on a Saturday morning. This is an older property and the windows do nothing to block sound. I was on top floor and heard the garbage being dumped and the truck backing up. Other than the noise, I had no complaints.
