Family friendly, clean room, great staff

We have stayed at this hotel several times and usually find it quite pleasant. This time we did not have the same experience. We felt unsafe upon our arrival when there was a woman outside on the bench in front of the hotel doors, who was obviously very intoxicated and talking incoherently to us. During the night there was a group below us that partied all night quite loudly and by 8 am they were tying ropes from either the room above us or the roof top and we were quite nervous that they were trying to climb these ropes and would come onto our balcony which was directly above them. I did contact the front desk to make them aware of the situation. We quickly packed our things and checked out. Upon check out they did ask how our stay was and informed us that they had moved this group to the floor above us as they wished to stay another night. They did not offer any apology for this and I feel for the folks staying in the hotel tonight that are in close proximity of there room. On a positive note, the rooms are clean. I think we will find a new hotel to stay at in Regina the next time we are there.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was awesome with many options. Breakfast is not included but you can purchase it as an add on when you book for $10, and it’s worth it. Without the breakfast voucher we would have had to pay $20 per person. It ended up being $2.50 per head for our family of four. Well worth the excellent breakfast. They had pancakes, poached and scrambled eggs, made to order omelettes, yogurt, a variety of cheeses, croissants, oatmeal, cereal, hashbrowns, fresh fruit like melon and pineapple, olives, smoothies, and more. The service in the restaurant was amazing. The waitresses were very accommodating and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The only complaints we had were that it took 10 minutes of running the water in the room for it to become warm, and parking underground was $20. The area didn’t seem safe so I wouldn’t recommend parking on the street. We would stay here again.

The staff at this hotel are all very good at their jobs, it was a fun stay.

This is a typical doubletree. All good. No issues with our stay. Although disappointing to see Hote parking was quite expensive, but I can’t complain because I knew that before we came.

Upon check in last night we were greeted by the most gracious and friendly person who checked my son and I in. I hope I spell her name correctly, Marielle. We received warm cookies and an exceptionally friendly welcome! Thank you! Then my son and I brought our luggage to our room which was emmaculate and comfy. Had a very good dinner at the hotel’s restaurant again greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful waitress who graciously helped us even though it was 9 pm, an hour before they closed. She provided exceptional service to my son and I! Thank you Doubletree from a couple of weary travellers!! Wow!!

Like all places we deal within Canada now. English is hard to understand from your staff. The washroom smelt funny in the room.

Keycards are a pain. Wasnt working. Had to pay 20$ for overnight parking. For 1 night, 200$ stay.
