Fairmont is always the best. Great location, room was very comfortable. Surrounding areas of interest were close by and easy to get to. Best of all the park next to the hotel was a great plus for our dog. Only con was the air conditioning took very long to cool. Luckily we could open the window in the room.

Absolutely stunning. Enchanting. It’s not a hotel - it’s a château! The most beautiful I have ever stayed at! To top it off, the bed was so comfortable! ❤️❤️❤️

There is no disputing the cham and beauty of the building itself. The rooms, however, are tired and dated and look in need of maintenance. When paying $400 per night - there is a level of excellence that is expected which unfortunately, the Fairmont Chateau Laurier does not deliver on.

In terms of the relationship between nightly fees and facilities within the hotel, there was an imbalance. Hotel restaurants were limited and priced excessively high.

Staff were absolutely lovely! Valet was overall pretty quick except after 8pm. We had to call as we were waiting outside the entrance for 10 minutes. Hotel room was quite dusty. Had to go buy some cleaning supplies. Tub was also dirty. There was hair in the bottom of the tub and the water never got hot. A/C didn’t work great either :( most likely will not be returning.
