Fairmont Vancouver Airport In-Terminal Hotel

Can't beat the convenient for an early morning flight. A superior experience - no question.

Clean, comfortable and convenient to the airport

One working elevator with no stairs leading to the lobby almost made us kate to our flight. It's simply not acceptable to pay that much money and wait 30 min for the elevator.

Great spot right in the centre of the action. Easy access to shops restaurants and cafes. Nice two bedroom suite with kitchenette. Very comfortable and clean.

Hotel was 1st class , Valet parking was a little expensive but attendant’s where all great people , we liked Amir !

I am writing this review as I believe Expedia being a travel booking site should have exceptions for people who miss their stays due to flight delays. Our flight sat on the tarmac for two hours making us miss our connection in Toronto. We were suppose to land in Vancouver at 12:40am..We were going to spend the night at the fairmont in YVR. But we didn’t, we had to wait in Toronto until 6:30am for the next departure which our airline accommodated. I contact Expedia, as soon as we landed in Toronto to let them know of our missed connection and they said they would get in touch with fairmont right away and let me know what they could do. I didn’t hear back for three days and they said they tried multiple times to get in touch but couldn’t reach anyone. So I tried calling the manager at fairmont YVR, I got through right away. I spoke with Leena who was really kind and apologetic and she said she spoke with someone just half an hour before I called and she asked them to send an email to have written communication, but she never received one. I then emailed Expedia back and relayed what Leena had said. It’s now been another three days and I have not heard back. I am frustrated and discouraged with the customer service Expedia is offering. There should be exceptions for missed stays when it’s due to aircraft delays. Either credits or partial refunds, or even full refunds. I would very much appreciate someone to contact me and we can come to an arrangement in solving this issue.

It was easy to stay here for an early flight. Public tram was very convenient to get around. We were able to eat in airport (cheaper than onsite diner).

Very quiet, you do not know you are at an airport unless you open the curtains, no sound of jets taking off.

I love this property, I usually plan my flights so I can have a night here. Service is impeccable, food is great.
