Great location, exceptionally well maintained property. I was also able to charge our car on the property which was a huge plus. I would highly recommend Holiday Inn for visits to Montreal.

The place was fantastic views was amazing

This is in a great location near McGill, the Metro, prime shopping and very safe at night. Family friendly too as there were many families with wide age range. The staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. Garage parking onsite was very helpful too, with later pickup available after check-out.

Absolutely terrible experience. At check-in, I was told I could pay for my stay in cash at check-out and would only be charged a $100 security deposit on my credit card. That’s the only reason I chose that option. Instead, during my stay, I discovered the hotel had slapped unauthorized holds on my card totaling around $1,300 for the nightly rate, parking etc. —all charges I was specifically told I could settle at the end. I was NEVER informed that they would still put holds on my card, and had I known, I would have just paid upfront. When I addressed this issue with the front desk, they acknowledged that their employee had made a big mistake by not informing me, but all we got was a simple apology. Additionally, I ordered about $20 worth of food from room service. The room service employee advised that we could pay this amount at checkout, and we opted for that. This resulted in an additional $100 hold being put on my credit card. Again, had I known this, I would have just paid the $20 upfront. To make it worse, it’s now been three days since I checked out and the holds are still tying up my credit card. I have stayed at countless hotels and have NEVER experienced something this shady and unprofessional. Putting massive, unapproved holds on a guest’s card and then sitting on them for days is completely unacceptable. This place clearly has no respect for its customers. Unless you want multiple unauthorized holds on your card, I would suggest staying at a different hotel.

They were more than accommodating for anything that you need. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were helpful with directions and spoke very clear English.

Very quiet ans safe

Initially, when we discovered the street in front of the hotel would be closed for an event, we asked if we could still access the parking, we were told ‘no’, so when I asked what we should do since we were stopping for one night on our way to a cottage and had lots of items in the car, we were told we should probably book another hotel. Fortunately, my wife phoned later and was told accessing the underground parking would be possible. It all worked out, but not without some unnecessary stress.

The room cleaning service was top notch!! Very good job cleaning the room every day!!

Nice place to stay, sad that there isn’t any room service Something I highly look forward to when staying a hotel. And if there was there was no menu in our room Nor was I able to call down to front desk But other than that, easy parking nice and clean, easy check in and out

I had a corner unit with windows all around me with great views. The staff was very polite and helpful to meet my needs. Beautiful hotel and beautiful spacious room. Yes I will return for sure. Expensive yet worth the stay . Did not dine in as I ate outside at my favourite restaurants ( Siam, Japanese BBQ restaurants ) Bed very comfortable with soft pillows......

The breakfast options are good. I think ala carte is a better option than having a full buffet breakfast. You only consume what you can finish. And you have an option of having your food to go if you want to. They have very friendly & attentive staff at the restaurant. The reception staff & housekeeping staff are also efficient in their work & very accommodating. The hotel is also within walkable distance from where the centre of the city is. Would stay again if I go back to Montreal.
