Holiday Inn ST. JOHN'S CONFERENCE CENTRE by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Bed sheet was dirty, asked house keeping for new one and was given a thin hospital like blanket to sleep with. There was stains on the walls and the stair wells were filthy. The pool was nice, but the gym wasnt kept clean there was multiple cups left and not picked up from the night prior.

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. What we dont like was, no sugar/creamer packets in the room nor facial tissue. The front desk said they're running low on facial tissue and will get one from empty room. For a big hotel, i think it is strange to run out of supplies.

A nice, quite hotel about 10 minutes drive from downtown.

I liked that the property had a lovely walking trail around a pond located behind it. The staff were helpful and friendly. What I didn't like was that there was no hot tub at the pool, we had a room without a tub so were able to get one that did. By booking through expedia we didn't receive maid service or our breakfasts included. This should be something that is explicitly told to customers. before their booking a room with expedia. Each room should also have a microwave.

Had an incredible getaway with my children lastnight. We ate good food, had a lovely room that was clean and comfy. Went swimming and had a dance party

If it wasn’t for Josh at the front desk going above and beyond we would have left day of check in..as for the room there was a certain door that didn’t leave and an access door to the outside that was sealed up. But to top it all off on the last morning before check out there was an earwig crawling across the ceiling… I will never stay at this hotel again. There are other hotels in the area for around the same price that are much better quality for what I paid.

I was very dissapointed with my stay. Went there to relax and couldn’t even sleep because seen 2 mice run out of our room.

Always gives good service and the rooms are spacious.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and very friendly. They provided a miscrowave when we asked about it. This arrives very quickly. However; waiting outside for my friend to park, the air in the front entrance was filled with cigarette smoke. The room itself had a tiny bathroom; the sink and mirror were not even in the bathroom but in the shared area, as you first come into room. Your knees practically hit the door when sitting down on the toilet and there was no fan in the bathroom at all. There was a big smear of something gross on the bathroom door to stare at while using the facilities. This was a low-quality budget room (at best) at premium price. I will never stay there again. Quite disappointing overall.

The watersides were not turned on because they only turn them on, on the weekends. I have never heard of that before.
