The overal stay was great

Check in May 29th after being evacuated from our hometown due to wildfires. Lobby was fine, but the check in staff weren’t welcoming. asked for trolley. They only had one on the lobby floor. Said there were others around but didn’t know where they were… blamed it on hotel guests for not bringing them back… Got into rooms, (I reserved 2 for 5 days) Room that mother in law was staying in had red stains on the shower curtain, floors left our socks and feet black in both rooms… and our room had a “sticky spot” next to one of the beds. our room has zero consistent shower temperature regulation. Warm one second cold the other. There was very visible damage in both rooms to fridges, furniture and tvs so we took pictures for our peace of mind. Zero check ins from anyone in housekeeping to see if anything was needed, went to a grocery store and purchased garbage bags, coffee, sugar, and other necessities that should have been at least asked to be restocked. Especially when they have a policy card in our room that ensures everything is up to their standards and every few days someone is supposed to check in with us. went to do laundry, and the washer was giving us an error… (the other one was out of order beside it) the maintenance came down and talked to front counter staff looked at us and left. Front desk came in and said, just slam it. June 2, locked out of rooms, cards deactivated even though I informed front of late check out while we wait for our next spot to be ready.

We had a really nice stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location was convenient for our needs. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

I love staying here every time I’m in Winnipeg but I dread the parking. The “truck only” parking spots are used up by small cars & suvs and it’s hard to maneuver a truck on the second level of the parkade. I wish the “truck only” parking spaces were enforced.

Very comfortable bed.

The hotel was nice and clean, but there was no room service at all and a very limited menu at the restaurant. The staff wouldn't even bring cultery up to our room. When there recovering drom out patient surgery, this was not ideal.

Stayed here at the Holiday Inn Winnipeg South for work. Overall the room was great. Housekeeping came and replaced my towels even if I just left it on the counter. Cleaned my room everyday. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My only issue was whenever the person above me turned on their shower it was so incredibly loud. And for some reason there was not enough hot water for my 6 am shower. It made me shower fast though! There was a shutdown for water the day I left. So perhaps it was to fix the hot water issue??? Overall a great stay.

I did not like how their front doors are revolving. Coming in with a trolly of luggage made it really difficult. They have handicap doors in the back of the building but when you're coming in the front to check in with all your stuff, it makes it difficult
