Nice location for a 4-day getaway. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel restaurant was good and very reasonably priced for breakfast and dinner. Superior hotel rooms are much smaller than shown on their website - you get carpeting and a higher floor. Hotel is quiet and away from the busy, noisy downtown Montreal area and 8 minute walk from the Viau Metro. Left our vehicle at the hotel parking lot and got a 3-day metro pass $21.25 for unlimited travel on the fantastics Montreal Metro.

The staff were friendly and relaxed about everything but super helpful. It was F1 race weekend so hotel was very busy but staff were chill and always happy. Free parking was a real convenience, will definitely consider for next years race and for other visits to Montreal. Thanks again!

Excellent hotel with very kind and professional staff. The walk ability to the various museums and venues was a huge bonus.

I really wish I could give this hotel 5 stars, but two things bring down the score. But first the positives:
* The room was spacious, clean and well appointed
* Bed was very comfortable
* Restaurant has good menu and is quite reasonably priced
* Metro station (Viau on the green line) is a short bus ride from the hotel
* There's a nice IGA supermarket within easy walking distance (about 400 meters)
* All staff speak English
However, two negatives marred our visit
1.There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, however, the in-house restaurant is quite good
2. The hotel was hosting a private party on the third floor ballroom. A very loud party with high decibel electronic dance music blasting until way past 11:30 at night. The hotel is U shaped around the pool and the ballroom faced into the U, causing excessive noise for all the guests in even-numbered rooms. The manager apologized the next day and treated us to breakfast, which was a nice gesture.
All in all, a nice hotel. Try to get an odd-numbered room.

Hotel look very rough on the outside. Lobby is nice, room could use a really good scrub. The walls had stains and some weird liquid that had dripped down them by the windows...gross.

It was a great stay. Loved the location and the condition of the room (we’ve got a renovated one). However, the lobby would need a facelift. I would also recommend a better quality for the pillows provided to customers.
