Very nice location, with well kept property and attentive staff in the housekeeping area.
It would be a bit more welcoming if the front office staff smiled and engaged more actively with guests. This is not to suggest they were not pleasant - they simply never smiled.

Nice room, comfy bed, great shower. Very convenient for dog walking. Lovely restaurant beside the hotel. Someone had parked in the electric charger spot- so we couldn’t charge our car. The parking lot was full and we had to park off site.

This hotel was decent in most ways. The lobby was quite “perfume-y” and the amenities were pretty limited, but it did the trick. In general, we enjoyed our stay but the parking was definitely a problem. It definitely feels like the advertisements and info for this hotel downplays how big a deal the parking can be. We were only able to park in the lot 1/3 of the days. The second day, we drove around at 10pm seeking somewhere to park and ended up in a parkade that turned out closed at midnight… luckily we got our car out and only then were we informed that street parking is free after 5:30 until 8am - great, except we have to get up and move our vehicle or pay for parking at 8 am. At the very least, the hotel should be giving a handout of some kind with nearby parking options clearly outlined. It made for 2 relatively stressful evenings.

A lot of noise outside as well as in hotel room there was some furnace or heating system noise that was very disruptive and went off every hour. Front desk only had one person on staff so it took time to checkin as they were on phone. Was quite disappointed to receive text messages of them reminding me of checkout time and to sell their bathroom product, seems unnecessary.

I booked a King suite on the main floor facing the river. The room was clean and modern. I think a few updates need to be made, but not many. What I was disappointed about what the description of "patio/terrace" being included with my room. This was not the case. When I arrived at the room, there was no patio facing the river.
I realized with further research that the hotel only includes a shared patio/terrace on the second floor. I went to the second floor hoping to use this patio as the weather was beautiful, and the door was locked. I asked a house keeping employee why the door was locked, and they stated that the patio is no longer in use because guests were behaving irresponsibly on the patio.
I wish this had been clearly stated on the website when I made my booking. One of the main reasons I had booked my suite was for the use of the terrace. I feel like I didn't get my money's worth for the stay.

We really liked the hotel, but the parking is extremely limited. If you park on the street, you have to make sure you are ready at 8am to pay on the app. It won’t let you pay in advance.

Always happy with my stays here - such friendly and accommodating staff, clean and great smelling spaces, and perfect location. It's the only hotel I consider when staying in Winnipeg. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was due to the fact, I paid for and had received confirmation for a river facing room and they were all taken, and I think the parking fee is overpriced - otherwise it would be 5 stars.

I checked in with my partner then went out for dinner. When we returned, we pulled back the covers and noticed something crawling in the bed.. come to find out it’s a bed bug. We immediately grabbed our belongings and left to the front desk, where we were greeted by awful customer service. The two at the desk were smiling and laughing during this situation and didn’t seem surprised to hear of bed bugs. They offered another room.. we obviously didn’t take it. We were told that when the “inspectors” come on Monday they’ll determine whether or not it was a bed bug and would warrant a full refund. My concern is that there’s no way to tell if the “inspector” will be truthful, or if there even is a real “inspector” Based on the manner in which the front desk handled the situation, I have no faith that they’ll admit it was a bed bug so they can withhold my money.
All in all, poor experience and poor customer service. Definitely don’t stay here if you want good service and a bug free room!
