I booked my room for 2 double beds. They told me I ordered a 1 king bed. Said they there was no other option then 1 room magically appeared when I shown my Expedia account. We asked for a cot and extra blankets since we had an extra person that we paid for. They refused and said there was no room for a cot. There was room once we seen the room. They still did not bring one up until I came back after my appointments and asked again for one. A different lady tried to charge me again and continued to refuse me blankets and cot. I had to show her my info on Expedia and they brought up a cot with a sheet and refused to give any extra blankets and pillows. If you charge for extra people in the room they should be more accommodating to guests.

Room 301 The shower does not work.

The staff were great and we loved the complimentary breakfast. However the room was very dated and could use major updates. There was a bad smell in the hallways as well as our room. The water did not stay a stable temp when showering, and none of the aplliances were plugged in upon arrival. This was especially annoying because we had items we wanted to put into the fridge afrer a day of travelling and the fridge wasnt cold upon arrival.

More variety for breakfast outdoor go a long to add greatness. More hot food like waffles, eggs, bacon would have made it grand!

The hotel is very dirty. Our room was in desperate need of renovation; filthy carpets, garbage from previous hotel patron on the floor. Bed rumpled and poorly made. Generally dirty and unkempt

They are doing major upgrades to the property.

The place needs a major upgrade. But it was clean and the staff was very nice.

An older hotel but the staff were very helpful and accommodating. For a remote location rooms are clean, wasn't crazy about the pillows provided. Grocery store right across the street. Staff are good!

This hotel is an older basic Motel type hotel. It's clean but accommodations are older and it shows. Maintenance is OK but kept at low budget. One corner of bed frame placed on small rock rather than proper base roller. Fixed promptly after it became a problem and was reported. Some cultural communication issues with owner who struggles with special requests. Hot breakfast good but essentially the same every day with options diminishing or fixed. Chef is good, polite and accommodating. Surrounding town and adjacent pier is older type with pier under repair. Very small town character, a bit tired looking. Restaurants close early around dinner time with very limited options of places to chose from - beware! Overwhelming positive experience are the very friendly local people, the beautiful nature and indigenous art/culture.

Convenient location for our overnight stay before going to Haida Gwaii.

appreciated the quietness at night while we were there and closeness to downtown and cafes

Wish there was an access to the roof where there wa a sliding door. Enjoy the roof top without having to walk the sidewalks amd get heckled

Noisy next door. Shower didn’t work. Very drab but clean enough. Wouldn’t stay there again.
