Hotel is in a good location but needs a renovation. The rooms are dated. Door latch kept sticking and would take multiple attempts to open. Roof top patio is covered in bird poop. A fire alarm went off one night and the night staff was not helpful. He didn’t keep his composure or communicate with guests.

It was nice and roomy, the location was great, walking distance from a lot of things. Parking was a bit of a struggle as there is a 6ft height restriction (we had a cargo top on our van), the alternate parking is a bit of a walk. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Great hotel.

If it weren't for the noise, this would be a typical five-star review of a Marriott property.
Directly across the street from the hotel is a large outdoor music venue. The first night, we had to listen to very loud '70s and '80s cover music, but we were assured it would not be as bad the second night. Unfortunately, the second night the venue hosted a large electronic dance music event that also went until after 1:00 in the morning.
According to the front desk, these events happen every Friday and Saturday throughout the entire summer. Would recommend that you not stay at this hotel over the weekends at all costs.

Hotel advertises they have a pool. They do not have a pool... they have access to a pool at a different hotel that is a 5 minute walk away. Not ideal for small children and a disappointment. Parking is very limited and we had to park at another hotels parking garage a few km away. Hotel is close to the waterfront and an easy walk.

The hotel was clean, great breakfast. Night time the noise from the local bars were very loud and made bed time with kids very very challenging. Based on this I would not stay here again unless I had a room not facing the bars

The property is good. Hallways smelled a bit musty but it’s fine. Staff was courteous and helpful. Area is safe. Lots of dining and entertainment options nearby. Breakfast was decent. Close to the boardwalk.
A few issues
1. If your room is on the east side of the building, prepare for lots of noise until 2 AM, since it faces a strip of bars.
2. Has a room AC that is noisy. The plus side is it drowns out outside noise. :p
3. Property has limited parking, but there is additional paid parking available nearby. If you need parking in the building, book in advance.
