I’ve stayed at this property several times and have always enjoyed my stay. This time however, I found the service in the on-site restaurant terribly slow.
The first night I waited an hour for a bowl of soup and some wings. Food was not bad.
Second night I waited an hour for some chicken. I walked out at that point because it was far too long. A customer who ordered before me received his onion rings after waiting an hour, asked the server how long til his burger would be ready, she said a few more minutes still. Unreal.
The place had about 10 guests, so it certainly wasn’t busy.
I found somewhere else to eat just down the street.
I’ll stay at the property again, but won’t eat at the resto.

We have stayed at the Rodd Inn a few times in the past several years. In recent years the upgrades have given this hotel a whole new feel but kept its nostalgia.
The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is a bit small and the toilets are quite low, however very clean.
The entire lobby is tastefully decorated for Christmas
We had the wings and Donair, very tasty and nicely plated
We found the hotel to be in a good location and value priced

Hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. This is an older hotel and as such is priced lower then other hotels in the area. It is located right on the main street and is very walkable. Would stay here again.

Overall it was ok, the hotel is very old and needs lots of updating but it was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable.

Hotel felt very dated and was very smelly. Assuming they are using febreeze like products to mask years of being a smoking friendly hotel. The parking lot was dark and we half felt like we were on edge walking through the lot as well as the hotel. The room itself was comfy and quiet with a nice view of the water and the food was good.
