We celebrated our 28 year anniversary by staying at Rodd Grand! We enjoyed everything there! We heard beds were uncomfortable and I can say our room had very comfortable beds.. we plan to visit again and stay there again!

The hotel is located on the main shopping avenue of this charming seaport town. Shops, restaurants, & cafes line the street. My room was very comfortable and my view was a combo town and sea. It was a lovely 2-day stay!

Wonderful friendly staff and comfortable hotel. Our only issues were that our bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and the hot tub was defunct. Otherwise we had a lovely stay!

There was no parking available- specifically no disbled parking, which is a major inconvience for those of us with mobility issues.

It's in a fantastic location, it could be great, but it's old and tired looking now and not enough parking for guests. Restaurant should be avoided if possible.

We were three adults. We stayed in a suite for one night. The room was large and spacious. The Rodd needs some modernization but for an older hotel it’s in good condition.

I was especially please when the front desk staff advised my I could park my motorcycle right out front on their sidewalk. And they offered cleaning towels for the motorcycle.

Convenient to the Cat Ferry to/from Bar Harbor. Bed was comfortable. Clean bathroom. A bit noisy. Not enough sound absorption between rooms.

We loved how quiet the room was and its proximity to the Cat (Ferry), which we were catching early the next morning.
The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The food and service in the dining room were quick and quite good.
