Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Nelson BC

Room is too hot, air conditioning is not cool enough and has a timer on and off. Breakfast is not that great. Its only 7:30am when we went for breakfast but its already empty. Nobody refills it.

The hotel was decent, the kids liked the pool and BP's was in the same paeking lot. Over all the stay was great. I rate this a 4 only because the rooms could use some updating.

Super 8 hotels have been my go to hotel while previously in the workplace for Many years. The ability to utilize the facilities whether it is the gym , pool , or in the latest case the laundry facilities, they are all spot on with what you need when you need it. Darcy , the cleaning room attendant made sure I had fresh additional towels “as we had” 3 in the room on this stay. The laundry facilities were very clean, machines were quick and very inexpensive as I had remembered it when I was working over the past years. Being retired now , it was great to know I was able to depend on a Super 8 hotel in a city far away from my own home of Toronto, that allowed me to fall right back into a comfort zone within this hotels domain. Should also mention a “U-Wash” it across the street from the Super 8 made it that Much easier to get all the road dust from Construction off our vehicle & fuel up station was right beside this hotel as well. Super 8 continues to toe the line on putting hotels conveniently located on main thru-ways from where I have stayed in the past. Whether it’s Sudbury, Toronto , the Alaska Highway as was this stay, the amenities at Super 8 continue to impress this traveller & my guests over & over again. My family loved the pill and water slide!

The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. It is an old hotel and cold use some work to bring it back to where it should be.

Traveling in a 3500 truck pulling a 28’ trailer, safe and ease of parking was great. Staff very friendly.

We were traveling with 2 dogs, so the room with the exterior door was perfect. It also made it easy to getnour stuff in and out, because you had a parking spot right outside your door. The room was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. If I am driving through again, I would definitely stay again.

The room cleaning was terrible. And the garbage pile at the door of the pool every morning was not great. Besides that it was good

Great place

Room was clean but a bit dated. The sink had rust spots and so did the tub. Overall a great room. Had a lot of thumping above which made my dogs bark so hopefully they did not disturb others.
