Super 8 by Wyndham Valemount

Many tourist staying at hotel. TV’s were not working for the last three days.Not mentioned at check in. Did pre-check and still asked for ID, credit card and make, model and licence plate number. What is the point of a pre-check? Manager non responsive. Staff unable to help. One German couple had a poor rattling air conditioner. Issue not addressed. Hotel was full of tourists. Many upset people at breakfast.

I will never ever book this hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing due to several issues that were neither resolved. Bathroom Hygiene: The bathroom had a strong smell of urine. I reported this issue to the front desk, and I was assured that it would be resolved the next morning. However, despite leaving early to allow time for it to be fixed, the smell persisted and no action was taken. Air Conditioning: The AC flaps were faulty, directing airflow directly onto the face, which caused discomfort and resulted in me catching a cold. Wash Basin Fixtures: The taps on the wash basin were extremely difficult to use, requiring excessive force. It appeared that bathtub taps had been installed on the basin, making them impractical for normal use. Insufficient Towels: Despite having three guests in the room, only two towels were provided, which was highly inconvenient. These issues not only caused discomfort but also reflect poorly on the standards of service and guest care. I was expecting that guest concerns would be taken seriously, but unfortunately, this was not the case.

It was okay as an overnight stop. Not a lot of seating space at breakfast. Toilet paper dispenser broke off the wall in bathroom.

It was a decent place to sleep as we were passing through. Beds were comfy and the breakfast met our expectations. Staff were helpful.

We stayed at Super 8 Valemount on our way to Vancouver and on our way back. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner wasn’t noisy and easy to sleep with on. Having a Keurig was nice. 2 pods were provided but I brought my own. The staff were amazing! When I booked, I forget to request a main floor because we had a baby with us and they come with A LOT of stuff. (The hotel does not have an elevator). The gentleman working the front desk moved us from the 2nd floor. He was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was pretty good. It offered bread, bagels and croissants, hard boiled eggs and sausages, yogurt and apples, coffee and a cappuccino machine. Unfortunately the pancake machine was not working. The breakfast area is small with only 3 or 4 six-seat tables. There is extra seating outside but would be inconvenient if it’s cold out. We were fine sitting with another couple. I would definitely stay here again when passing through.

Room was dated and not real clean. Some lights didn’t work. Breakfast area had 3 tables and about 15 people waiting. Told us we could sit out on the patio. Plus 11 and drizzling?? To much money for what we got!

I just stayed for one night and for this area is a good option.

Our stay was ok. Barely slept because the AC unit was so loud. This hotel should install a towel rack or additional hooks inside the bathroom so guests can put their clothes when they shower. There was only one hook on the door inside the bathroom.

I was given a room on the second floor, and I had a cooler of food that I needed to get upstairs. I am a senior with health issues, and it was an immense problem. Hauling an electric cooler upstairs with all the contents was ridiculous.. I was totally flabbergasted that this hotel did not have an elevator. I rely on that. I have no idea how other seniors would be able to manage.

Very clean, comfortable and newly renovated. Breakfast was great, dining area was clean and cozy rustic look.

The staff was very helpful and courteous.
