Staff were friendly and helpful but the noisy plumbing was scary. Also noisy people above and around my room at all hours. Intoxicated locals hanging around outside at all hours.
On the plus side hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and stores.

The area around the property is nearby a Wallmart and Tim Hortons that is convenient. However, the area has a lot of homelessness with lounging around asking for money and cigarettes. It was uncomfortable leaving the front lobby to the parking lot. There is night security but perhaps during the day and present outside the lobby area. The inside was renovated from when I stayed here last year that is brighter and more inviting. The room service is at request which I didn't mind. My coworker checked in and the room wasn't cleaned up after the previous occupant. Staff was apologetic and changed rooms right away for him. Staff are friendly and helpful but can only do so much.
