For downtown work/visit, the Sonder Bev is ideal. Right on Queen St W in the heart of the arts scene. Travel light because there's no elevator and the rooms are "Japanese small", but convenience renders those moot. The automated systems are flawless (there's no physical staff on site). I love this place for convenience.

As an introvert looking for a quiet place to stay in the city that still had a convenient downtown location, this was an excellent stay. I didn’t have to deal with anyone face to face and communication regarding check in and check out was clear and concise. Quiet building, small but well appointed room with surprising storage, comfortable and clean. Perfect for some unwinding at night and sleeping for a couple of nights. Great for 1 or 2 people.

Hotel was in a convenient location. Some small chips and cracked bits. Tv was in a very awkward location as it was hanging from the wall in such a way that I had to duck when getting up from my side of the bed. Would have been nice to have some “creamers”for the tea.
Room was facing the street so could hear quite a bit of the street noise at night.
Would have been nice to be able to get some basic channels on tv instead of exclusively Roku.

I've stayed here before, but was disappointed in the the condition and cleanliness of the room.
The sheets were old, and though clean had old stains on them. The never drained properly and the floor should have been cleaner.

I picked a small room but it is great for a solo traveler. Was comfortable. Sound does carry but towels at the base of the door helped. They provided coffee, shampoo conditioner and lotion. The coffee/ ice cream sandwicj shop was great! The room is small but has a mini fridge and storage. The small too. I was in did not have a desj or table but a slide under the bed table. For a short stay when you are sightseeing this is a great location.

I've stayed at a number of Sonders, including this one, but for whatever reason the toilet ran every 3-4 minutes all night long. Don't stay in room 26.
