It was great. We came in late check in . Very acomidating and polite. Very friendly and seen to our needs. We came for a damily funeral and all last minute. Glad to have a nice place to stay

On the way to the hotel on this 600km day trip, we met a blizzard and had to travel 50km in 2 hours. It was a long night and really hard, but the room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is provided, but they turn off the food warmers 40 minutes before and do not refill the food, so if you are late, you will have to eat nothing or cold sausages and scrambled eggs. Breakfast was very bad, but the rest was good.

The rooms themselves are very clean and the bathroom tiles and furniture throughout the room looked new. Beds are comfy. We had a room off the main lobby. There is another hallway across the pool which is empty and left dangerous to walk by. That hallway smells heavily of cigarette. The building in general is old and rotting away. Seems like they are trying their best to keep the inside of the rooms nice but the floors eveywhere are slanted all over the place.

It is just terrible dirty and stinky place, hope no one from Europe gets there, this place should be demolished just disgusting and it charges $200 a night, where is health Canada? How do they allow such places to operate.

The sheets and towels/bathroom were clean.
Rest of the property is a dump.
Restaurant next door at 5 pm on a Saturday had two tables with patrons. I didn’t eat there.

Great staff-room was fantastic-clean/though somewhat dated in spots(ie. old window trim). Property however could use some freshening up (hallway carpets)

Expensive for what it was. The room smelt, blood drop on the carpet and they need to be replaced. The whole hotel needs renovating. Would not recommend.

We did not stay in our room, we checked out about 30 minutes after arrival. The hotel was disgustingly dirty. Our room smelt terrible and the bed had multiple stains on it. We could not stay in this hotel and had to book a different hotel that night. Thank goodness there was room at the Clarion because we could not stay at the Travelodge.

Typical Kenora hotel that needs a renovation. Pool looked like it hadn’t been used in years, lobby was dated, outside looks like a rough place to stay. I suggest they clean up the place and increase tourism to the town.
