Bed,bed sheet and pillows all stunk and the room smelt like wet dog

Was alright room smell like dirty carpet but bed was clean recommended if there is no other option

Only redeeming quality was a nice staff. The hotel was in need of major renovations 10 years ago. The hall carpets were the dirtiest I have ever seen, some receptacles did work. Very poor lighting and the main lobby has an issue with the floor leaning towards the decommissioned pool

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The Travelodge Kenora is absolutely run down and is filthy condition.

Do not stay at this hotel. I reserved the hotel through Expedia and chose the pay at property option. When we arrived and checked in, the property and room looked nothing like the pictures online. The room was dingy, dirty and the bed was horrible. We checked out two minutes later. At that point the front desk staff was helpful, and assured me that I would be fully refunded because we weren’t satisfied with the room, which I greatly appreciated. I was told that the hold on my credit card would take 24-48 hours. Well, come to find out that not only do I still not have my money back almost a full week later (I was there June 28, and it’s now July 4), but they also put a hold on my card for $580 when it was supposed to be $480. I called the property again today after speaking with my bank and was asked to call back after 8:30am when the manager would be there, so I did. This time the woman who answered the phone was not helpful at all, and actually hung up on me. I called back and she refused to give me her name, and the manager is still not available. She basically just sat there on the phone without responding to me. Not only was the room unacceptable, but now they’ve had my money for a room I didn’t stay in for almost a week, charged me too much and are extremely rude about helping me get it figured out! She blamed my bank, she blamed Expedia (I called them and they opened an investigation with this property). If I could give negative stars I would!

Pools were both shut down and not working bed sheets were not changed jacuzzi had hair all over just an older hotel. Wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone .

Nice hotel, great room, but i also booked for the pool. Entering in and finding the pool empty and no warning of it was a bit let down.

dated property in need some freshening up. room was ok, but not for what i paid in the busy summer.

I got charged 300.00 dollars to stay in a room, where the the floor was sloped and in places very spongy. The chair had broken legs, glad i saw it before i sat in it. The room was very dingy and the carpet is worn out and very grungie. The outside door card lock was broken, so anyone could come into hotel, as we found out, with a intoxicated person knocking on our door after midnught. I feel that this room was extremly over priced and poorly represented my Expedia.

Clean toilet and bed

Lights did not work in half of the room. Coffee maker was broken. I found little ants crawling in my bed when I woke up. Also parking for truck and trailer was difficult. Even though it stated on Expedia that they had RV,truck and bus parking Overall the room was dark. Carpets in hallway and bedroom were dirty. Pool was under construction. Paid $266 for one night other than the fact we needed a room late at night and it was available. It was not a good experience.

The room was nuce, comfortable and quiet. I had a great stay

Need renovation .Windows are very old not able to open.Room has very bad smell and when we complain staff was not able to find solution or apology they told us at 11 pm if you don’t like it you will leave and find other one this is not customer service.

Desk clerk was impatient and it showed. I told him. Disabled reg. for Ont are parking for disabled are to be 12 ft wide. The two at this property are the narrowest of all parking slots there. Back door for motel is unsecure and left unlocked. the room had a good bed. I use a walker, ...bad sidewalks, bad stairs, bad thresh,holds. exterior showing very deteriorated surfaces. Will never go back and will tell others.

The Travelodge at Kenora was not what I expected. I was expecting 2 double beds but only got queen. The carpet was dirty and furniture was old and chipped but the bathroom was clean and bedding nice Would not stay here again because

This motel was the most expensive on our trip from Alberta to Ontario. Although the bed was ok for sleeping, everything else was old, outdated, shabby and unsafe when it came to doorsteps etc. it was very disappointing and we will not be staying there again.

Good for a one night stay passing through. But could have been maintained more betterand clean. The pictures do not show the current condition.
