Great location: walk distance to railway station, bus station and subway stations. The room is brand new, and very clean. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The food is very tasty. Definitely we would like to recommend it to friends and will live there again in future.

Room is quite large and clean. Bed is comfortable. Hotel location is near metro and convenient to travel around Shanghai.

The location is very good for being near the Shanghai railway station. The breakfast has numerous choices. However, the gym has only some running machines, a bike, and a step climber. The overall experience was very good.

Over all is very good, front desk is very friendly. It is clean. But the shower room water drainage does not function well and need to fix. Thanks, Steve

The hotel is good location to stay while decide to make a trip around Shanghai. The staff was nice and kind to helping. Smell some smoking in public area while entering a room.

Hotel is impossible to work with. Doesn't care about their customers and won't consider helping make accommodations if it doesn't fit policy. Penny wise, pound foolish. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express in the future nor will I book with Hotels.com.

Excellent location near Metro and train station. Room average but Great breakfast. . Free fast WiFi. Front desk staff speak reasonable English. Excellent value for the money.

Good bang for your buck, but the area around the hotel is a whole construction site, quite noisy.

They do not have room service facility, for any requirement you must call on reception and they have only one answer that they do not have servant to serve , just do it yourself like luggage transfers, water and most embrassing picking extra bed upt your room. And then also they doesn't feel regret but shows disrespectful attitude by front desk. Not preferred for family but economic hotel (thato stay within city near to downtown. Taxi, metro are easily available.

Location is good, but the employees at the front desk were terrible and they were not very helpful and not willing to help the customer with any thing beside that they are not speaking English. The owner of this property may consider hire a new employees or send those employees to get train in customer service class. While I as their, I ask the lady at the front desk to help me find taxi, She said I don't have time and not my business, then I just walk out and find myself. The day when I check out I asked front desk lady to help me find the airport terminal on my airline ticket because of I cannot speak Chinese, and I wanted to telp taxi where to send me, but she said no I cannot help I am busy and she was so mad at me, so I just walk out and tell taxi to find out for me.

Ok, could do with some updates like working television and may be more multi lingual speaking staff

the hotel room looks new probably after recent renovation. It is convenient to most attractions n there are tram of one wishes to walk less to the attraction sites. Eati g places are the usual ones such as fast food for budget travellers. However, the noise from next door bar can be unbearable n lasted almost to 3am! By closing the room window, noise can be cancelled but at a price of a stuffy room.

hotel was conveniently located near train and metro station, easy for travelers taking an out of shanghai or with In shanghai, staff are courteous and speak good English.. clean and comfortable. only breakfast was the same everyday.
