Very good location, last time I stayed the subway was under construction, it’s now only 2 minutes away. Many good eateries in the walking distance, all staff willing to help and always wear a smile. Breakfast is very Chinese and quality just par, nice gym and pool, our 3 nites’ stay was pleasant and very enjoyable.

Nice and clean room. Added some money to get a room on higher floor and sea facing. Breakfast spread was great. Buffet dinner wasn’t fantastic. Very helpful bellboy providing useful informations. House keeping staff were friendly, fast and efficient. Location of hotel is somewhat remote but a stone throw to the jetty for boat ride to Gulanyu island.

Despite the subway construction, I find the hotel clean and quiet. The staff are very helpful, especially the concierge, the bell boys and the staff at breakfast. Arno and the bellboy who has very small build (sorry I missed his name) are very helpful. When we told Arno that we want to take a bus to Nanputou, he explained the direction and ensured us have small changes. He actually went to get us CNY5 in small changes without asking if we can change the note. Fortunately, we had the bank note of CNY5 and gave it to him in return. I actually spent 1 night at Millennium and changed it to Pan Pacific for another 3 nights. I made the right decision.

Although the hotel is bit dated, but everything works great. The service was excellent, from the bellhop, reception, lounge staff and the house keeping, everyone was friendly and courteous. There is a subway construction in front of the hotel and we didn’t hear any noises during our three nights stay; great sound proofing. We really enjoyed our stay and compliment to the management for having such well trained and wonderful staff.

Absolutely outstanding in everyway.
Helpful staff especially Angus, concierge Harry and Jessy in the Pan Pacific Club.
Breakfast caters for all tastes and the fruit bread, pastries and poached egga were fantastic. Room service and cleaning also perfect and the room was amazing with the shower and bath window to room and piped tv sounds.
Walking to the lakes is a few mins walk or run as we did or up into the gardens behind the hotel from just beyond the foot bridge for a serene peaceful dander. First time in China but I love Xiamen and would stay here again if i come back.

We arrived very early in morning thinking to drop luggage until checkin. They suggested upgrade to suite which was ready to go to right away and it gave us Breakfast buffet, Afternoon Tea and Happy Hour with Appetizers. It was great!
