All-inclusive Hotel Albatros

Clean, spacious room, friendly staff, lovely pool, good food choices for all, all inclusive drinks were good on the whole, entertainment was varied.

Beautiful place

Spacious room with good size bathroom and a balcony, large busy hotel however did not feel overcrowded. Lovely staff very nice and helpful. Good activities during the day and at night. Spa, indoor swimming pool, a small shop. Very good pool, shame people take all the sun lounges by leaving a towel on them and not using them! Food was also good and varied.

The staff turned me away at 1 am saying there were no rooms. I then booked a room on Expedia. They made me wait until confirmation was received, i had been traveling over 24 hours at this point. The bathrooms are horribly designed. Its like a pool shower, no walls, water can get everywhere. In the AM it looked nice but far overpriced.

It's kind of a club hotel staff not very kind

During our stay we especially enjoyed Epidaurus Festival music in the hotel lobby and Klapa music in the dining room. The weather was wonderful for dining outside. The young man who led water aerobics coaxed almost everyone into the pool to participate! That was great fun. Mato the bar tender was especially courteous, friendly and fun.

Remisens Hotel Albatros in Cavtat, Croatia, is set in a beautiful, picturesque location. The area offers lovely walks along the bay leading to the charming village of Cavtat, which has a variety of restaurants and pubs. The waterfront is a great spot for viewing the impressive superyachts that often moor there. The people are very friendly, and a boat trip to Dubrovnik to walk the city walls is a definite highlight. However, the hotel experience was average. While the air-conditioning in the junior suite was good, the public areas like the corridors and bar were uncomfortably warm. Cleanliness was also an issue; housekeeping trollies were left in hallways for days, and bird droppings on the balcony were not cleaned, making it unusable. The food was inconsistent, ranging from good to mediocre. Overall, the hotel's stunning location makes it a decent base for exploring the area, but the hotel itself has noticeable shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

Family-friendly

Very old and run down. Cooking area on floor in restaurant was not clean. Many tables left with dirty pots on, not enough staff to manage this. Totally run down outside sports courts looked derelict. Very sad to see. Food was very poor. No information given about air con, they must have dozens of queries at reception every week. Didn’t see any management/leadership, seems poorly run. Needs refurb, outside areas not maintained. Food /spillages on floors left with cone near it but not cleaned up. Indoor pool changing area and showers just awful to use on last day after needing to check out of room. Absolutely not 4*

Noi avevamo solo camera e colazione. Hotel veramente molto grande, tantissime camere e tanta gente. Nel complesso tutto ok. Un po' di difficoltà a trovare parcheggio in quanto la maggior parte dei villeggianti sosta durante tutto il soggiorno e non sposta mai l'automobile.

Nice staff! Room a little small for a 4-star hotel and no bathtub.

Nous avons été déçus. Le prix nest pas justifié par rapport aux prestations, pour un hôtel soit disant 4 étoiles. L'animation est quasi inexistante !! La restauration est variée mais l'hôtel propose toujours les mêmes menus, sous forme de buffet dans une cantine. Cet hôtel n'est pas bien insonorisé.

Rooms are very old , but service was great food was excellent

So disappointed with the hotel. It’s in dire need of a makeover. Very dated but clean at least. Staff were miserable. Pool area is extremely busy and although it states no smoking allowed, people were smoking constantly. Even in the dining area. The food was ok some days but diabolical on others. There were days when I lived on bread and butter and watermelon. I wish I’d booked my holiday in a neighboring hotel.

Ok hotel, med flott beliggenhet og flott utsikt over havet fra rommet vi hadde. God mat, noen dager bra underholdning, men flere dager med dunkemusikk og skrik og hyl fra hotellets ansatte som skulle underholde barna 5 meter fra middagsbordene utendørs. Restauranten var ingen restaurant, men en matsal. Utendørs var det koselig og fint å spise, men kveldsmiddagene ble som sagt delvis ødelagt av høy ig støyende musikk

We love Cavtat so good location. But breakfast was so so, cleaning of room very poor, they do not have thier own beach. Sure there is a beach outside but does not belong to the hotel. Great morning yoga. Gym ok. The pool is not deep at all.

Rummene er super fine og wow en udsigt. Men mad og drikke er så dårlig kvalitet. De var langsomme til at fylde op og kunne slet ikke rumme så mange mennesker. Poolen er is kold. Rengøring på rummene men ingen rent sengetøj eller støvsugning på gulvtæpper i 6 nætter. Føj. Total overpris for hotellet. Området og byen mega fed der kommer vi tilbage men ikke til dette hotel.
