The room was nice. The town was close and you can swim in the harbor across from the hotel. There is a another beach 10 min away walk. The pool is on the roof. The view is nice.

Fantastisk utsikt fra rommet og balkongen. Hotellet bare meter fra nærmeste strand. Svært god beliggenhet mtp bading, restauranter og sentrum. Veldig fin standard på bad og seng. Skiftende temperatur på vannet i dusjen. Mykt og godt sengetøy. Bra air condition. Litt varierende service. Renholdspersonalet veldig høflige og grundige. Mannen i resepsjonen gjorde minste minimum, og vi så at kvinnen ved siden av i resepsjonen ga mye mer og bedre informasjon til de gjestene hun betjente. Hun var også veldig mye hyggeligere og høfligere. Da vi sjekket ut tok mannen i resepsjonen bare imot kortene og sa ingenting mer.

Arriving in the afternoon to be told all sunbeds were reserved was a huge disappointment since that was a large reason I chose the hotel. You have to reserve seats for 5€ but it would give you a credit at the pool bar.
The room was way too hot and not dark enough. Bed was a little firm for my liking.
The second day I reserved chairs but it was for half day, 🙄
The pool was such a refreshing temperature even though it was smaller that the pictures made it seem..
Overall I didn’t think it was worth the cost

Had a lovely week staying at hotel Cavtat. It is located perfectly for the restaurants on an evening.
We were disappointed the bar shuts at 11.00 and the pool bar at 6pm.
We had family interconnecting room which worked really well with our two teenage daughters.
If you have children he pool is very small and might not be what they need. We managed and didn’t have many pool days but my younger daughter loves a lilo in the water and we didn’t feel it was the right place or big enough for that.
You do have to pay to hire sunbeds €5 per person per half day but you do get a voucher to spend at the pool bar as long as you spend over €5. However, there is no getting up early to put towels down as you choose your bed number and it is always there for you whatever time you go down.
Breakfast had a good choice and fresh omelettes made to order.
All the staff were very friendly and pleasant.
I will certainly be back to Cavtat and would consider using Hotel Cavtat again.

Hotellet är ineffektivt och har organisatoriska problem och så tar de betalt för absolut allt – från deposition för handdukar (du får en papperslapp i receptionen när du hämtar ut handdukarna, och för att undvika en avgift på 10 EUR per handduk måste du lämna tillbaka papperslappen vid utcheckning) till solstolar vid poolen (5 EUR per stol – du får en voucher som kan användas i baren, vilket är okej, men stolarna var så stökiga, och de som du väljer enligt kartan i receptionen stämmer inte med verkligheten och så tvingas du indirekt att handla i baren). Solstolar vid poolen har två tider att välja mellan – förmiddag eller eftermiddag – vilket gör att det kostar 10 EUR per stol och dag. Poolen och området runt omkring är så trångt att det är väldigt lite utrymme mellan stolarna.
Receptionens personal är långsam och svarade i telefon tre gånger under tiden de hjälpte oss, vilket försvårade kommunikationen. Check-in tog cirka en halvtimme.
Om du frågar om senare check-out, så kostar det 20 EUR per timme – okej, men kom igen, Kroatien, det borde finnas en gästvänlighet och flexibilitet om man har möjlighet att vara tillmötesgående. Det finns ju alltid nästa säsong också.
Läget är utmärkt, men solstolar på hotellets strand kostar 15 EUR
Sammanfattningsvis förstör deras ineffektivitet intrycket av hotellet. Detta är inget hotell jag kommer vilja bo på igen – det är inte rimligt i förhållande till vad man betalar per natt.

We were very, very pleased with this hotel selection!
It was a quick drive from the airport - only 10 minutes - with easy check-in!
The room was just fine with everything we needed, including hot water heater, coffee, and creamers!
The breakfast was a free buffet with lots of wonderful cold and hot options!
The pool overlooked the ocean, and the hotel has its own waterfront spot!
The best part was the walkability down a little hill to the town of Cavtat with lots of dining and swimming options.
We only stayed two nights, but I wish it had been longer!
