The Lodge Billund

Very comfy environment and spacious room. With free access to pool and sauna were an extra joy within Christmas times. Breakfast was excellent with various selection and great quality of food.

Nice hotel, in a great place to walk to Lego House, with free parking. Friendly receptionist. Quiet room. Shower curtain wasn't ideal. Only prepacked food available for evening meal, we broughg a pizza back from town. Breakfast looked great but everything was quite sweet. Plenty of choice though.

We had a great time. Se visited Legoland och Legohouse but still had time to use the gym in the mornings and the pool in the evenings. Great breakfast and good service!

Close to the places we wanted to visit. Easy to find.

The lady at reception was outstanding. We had left our passports in Copenhagen and she called the hotel to ensure they held them until we could pick them up. She also researched a number of options to retrieve them via courier. Hotel was great but this young woman was exceptional!

Lovely property and easy to walk to/from or get the hourly shuttle bus that picks up a couple of minutes walk away. Excellent breakfast choices and clean, comfortable rooms.

Bella la struttura, comodissima per la facilità di parcheggio e la vicinanza a Legoland, giusto 4/5 minuti a piedi. Ottima la colazione, molto variegata tra dolci e salati. La camera però non ci ha convinto: un po’ troppo calda, cuscini terribili e bagno scarso, con arredamento di basso livello e doccia con tendina ingiallita. Mancante anche la cassaforte. Avremmo preferito poi la pulizia della camera più tardi: nonostante avessimo fatto colazione in orario, lasciando il tappetino “non disturbare”, abbiamo trovato davanti alla porta un cesto con asciugamani e carta igienica con l’avviso che non sarebbero ripassati per pulire.

It was close to Lego land and had good swimming pool!

Staff is very kind and helpful, he allowed us to check in early as the room is ready. He also helped us booking a taxi for next morning. There were food and drinks available for purchase from the lounge. The surrounding is nice and quiet; there’s also a free city shuttle from LEGO House. But even walking there only took us 19 minutes. The room is rather small but we stayed for one night only, so it’s all good.

The hotel is basic but has everything a family needs, including great playing facilities and great options for food!

The Lodge was a terrific place to stay and we would definitely stay there again. We wanted something kid-friendly close to Legoland without having to pay what they were asking at the Lego Hotels. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities available and how helpful the staff was. Our 8 year old absolutely loved the pool and we liked how close we were to Legoland since we didn't have a car. Breakfast was amazing and had options for everyone. It's very busy but when you select your breakfast time, there's always room available for you. We didn't get to explore outside as much as we hoped since we spent most of our time at Legoland and Lego House but it's somewhere we definitely would stay again and probably spend an extra day or two. Without having a restaurant, they had lots of quick meal options we could pick up, which we did one night and really enjoyed. The morning we were checking out, we needed a taxi at 6AM which would mean we missed breakfast. When I asked the front desk about it the evening before, they reserved my taxi right away and promised us breakfast to go. Everything was ready for us in the morning with the taxi waiting at the door. Overall, we have nothing negative to say about the Lodge and very much hope to visit again.

The stay was great. Room was good but got a bit hot and stuffy. You could open the windows and they provided a desk fan which helped. Breakfast was great and had a good selection.
