Great Pyramid Inn

Our stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a great view from our room and even better from the rooftop. I highly recommend this hotel.

We both caught e coli bacteria 3 types me and my wife we just went to the hospital yesterday after days of continuous diarrhea and stomach cramps and aches this is unacceptable and disgusting

we only stayed for one night but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite nice, but the highlight was the incredible view of the pyramids!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Great Pyramid Inn - Giza! The staff couldn’t do anything more for you and were super friendly and helpful. The view of the Pyramids were stunning and they were right there and the beauty was that they could be enjoyed while you are in the restaurant. Food was delicious! The rooms however needed some attention but was enough for our couple of days stay! The hotel was very safe, no issues there at all!

My stay at the Great Pyramid Inn was amazing. I was blow away with the views, very accesible, affordable and safe. As a solo traveler safety was a priority.

We were surprised about the good service at the hotel, Food was amazing, Buffett always different and waiters are the best.. Pirámid view is wonderful... Five Stars!! We will come back!!!

The big selling point for this hotel is their location, and the views of the pyramids are obviously stunning. Additionally, the hotel also impressed us with its fantastic free breakfast offerings and with how well maintained it was. The staff were also attentive to any requests and made us feel very welcomed. The one downside is that their Wi-Fi was spotty and unreliable. For us it worked only in certain parts of the room (i.e. by the bathroom) and was prone to drop. Keep this in mind if you anticipate needing to conduct any important virtual meetings or otherwise need a reliable connection. However, this didn’t affect our overall impression of the hotel, which was very positive.

This hotel was great! The area around hotel is not walkable. The hotel staff will help you be safe. Nothing beats the view from the rooftop! The food was amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel…I was just not prepared for the area

Pros: We booked two different rooms for two nights. One was the best room in the hotel with an amazing pyramid view. The room was pretty clean and complimentary breakfast was pretty good. I believe this hotel may be the best option in Giza unless you stay at the Marriott Mena. Cons: There was a really bad smell in the bathroom that took away from the enjoyment. The staff sprayed and cleaned and brought incense which helped some. One of the overnight staff when we arrived wasn’t very honest about the amount of cats that hang around the hotel. We are animal lovers but my fiancée is HIGHLY allergic to cats to where it can be fatal. We stressed that and he just told us no cats but found three cats on our balcony. Overall other staff were really nice and tried to rectify it as best as they could. Make sure you book tours with certified websites before you arrive. They tend to overcharge which is typical for hotels but the tour experience is completely different. We didn’t get our moneys worth and felt like we were constantly taken to shops to buy stuff rather than touring sites we paid for which put a bad taste in our mouth first day in Egypt but got better as we went on other tours we booked on reputable websites. Stay away from the tours and you will have a good experience.
