Very easy to get to from airport train and bus station. Also give freevtransport to your terminal if you book ahead. Excellent. Very comfy bed so a great nights sleep. We had the breakfast in the morning which is serve yourself and was very tasty .

Loved the location and the shuttle bus....
Fabulously large rooms.
Menu limited evening meal but food was very tasty.
Breakfast very nice.😀
Didnt like the queue for check in and the self checking wasnt working...🤔. Reception staff wondeful.

Staff there are wonderful!
An excellent team.
John the shuttle bus driver went out of his way to help us,as did the concierge lady and Vanesa at reception.
Food was delicious in the bar area of the restaurant and attentive pleasant service.
Will definitely stay here when we go to the airport!

Nice hotel, really comfy bed I had a lovely sleep, was a couple of bits in the room that could do with a little TlC and replacing but clean and had everything you need and that’s my main priority, only problem I had was in the bathroom as couldn’t get the shower or bath water to get to a normal temperature so was either freezing cold or boiling hot so was disappointed with this after a day of travelling, Breakfast was nice lots of choice and replenished regularly, didn’t have much to do with staff as used the check in system and check out system which was super easy but they were visable behind the desk when I arrived if you needed them, however breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.
Didn’t use the free shuttle even though could have as was leaving when I left as I had time to kill for my train, was an easy walk to the station and connections to the terminals only thing I would say is when you leave T1 arrivals could do with more signs to Clayton, I could see the hotel in the distance but when it’s dark and late it’s not as easy to see how you get across the busy roads when you’ve not been before.
Overall I would stay again at this hotel and was happy with my stay.

Nice hotel, very comfortable bed. Quiet room. Negative was the restaurant, cold burger and chips, no draught beer or lager. Wine from £33 a bottle!

Over night stay before morning flight. Checked in on line for key collection at terminal to save time at reception. Both terminals not working so had to check in at reception. Very long wait to be checked in so poor service.
Room was very cold on entry. No hairdryer so when asked for one the delivery person stood waiting to be tipped. I don’t think so for an item that should have been in the room. Pillows uncomfortable and lumpy.
Half of the TV programs with poor signal so continually pixelating. No draught beer available as pumps broken. Ordered a pizza and it was full of water as clearly fastly defrosted. One lift broken and drilling was still ongoing at 8pm at night I have stayed at the Clayton on a few occasions and this was not what I expected.

Always book this hotel when flying from Manchester airport because of the very efficient transfers we get but this time was told no transfer at 5 or 6 am to terminal 2 as we were flying at 8 we booked transfer to terminal 1 so we had a ride was told by reception that quatar had taken the transfers I know we are only a small fish to your hotel but we are regular guests and if this is going to keep happening we will have to look at what we plan

Had nothing on tap at the bar and all the drinks were warm which wasn’t great. We did get our free upgrade though. Pillows not comfy and duvets are too heavy and did not sleep well.

OK for one night. Dated hotel but being refurbished. Very strong smell of paint on my floor due to these works. Prepare to pay for parking £30 per 24 hours. Staff not overly friendly. Very hard to get taxi also.
