Bed comfort was great. Waitstaff very helpful as we have not done QR ordering and paying before. Room size accommodation were good for 3 people. Shuttle service was wonderful!

Would definitely stay here again, hotel shuttle picked us up from the station and dropped us off next morning at the terminal. Rooms are clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar and food was great, our only criticism would be that food and drinks are expensive.

Very nice room, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very quiet too despite close proximity to the runways. Breakfast was surprisingly good, far better than other Clayton Hotels I've stayed in. Complimentary shuttle bus to the airport was a real benefit, the driver was really helpful in giving me directions. My one pet hate: shower curtains on straight poles! If this was changed to a curved pole so the curtain doesn't stick to me in the shower, my stay would've been perfect!

Hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport which is really handy. Room was spacious, comfortable and had everything I needed. 2 things annoyed me: you can't go to the bar and order a beer, it's table service only which is fine until you're sat with an empty glass and can't get anyone's attention. Secondly, the food in the restaurant is embarrassingly overpriced and well below average! It's on par with a bad motorway service station. I've stayed at a number of Clayton Hotels and the poor quality of the food seems to be a common issue.

I have previously stayed at this property and been very satisfied.When I checked in I had to ask for VIP benefits but was not offered an upgrade.After checking into room 108 I was utterly disappointed . The room is dark and the view is concrete blocks, sink chipped, stained carpet and faded furniture.I returned to reception and was told to come back at 3 pm which I did and thankfully was given an upgrade to room 375 which was clean, bright , comfortable and updated. The saving grace of this experience was the fabulous shuttle drivers who go out of their way and provide excellent customer service. Doubtful I will return I will be looking for a new Man airport hotel.

Had a late arrival flight in to Manchester and an early departure so an airport hotel was a must have. Chose the Clayton based on reviews and price and wasn’t disappointed. From pickup outside the terminal (driver told me this is an ‘on demand’ service; I was lucky as he happened by the stand) to departure, the process was simple and efficient with self check in and key collection making for for a swift process. This removes people from things but, for a busy hotel, I guess it speeds up the ins and outs of many travellers. Room was a good size, good price and very clean, well sound proofed and comfy. All in all a very good experience.
