Great welcome on arrival staff very polite courteous and friendly. Room very clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Bar staff excellent. Breakfast great. Shuttle to terminals great service. I will rebook again for my next pre flight night stay over

Great location, very close to the airport. The room was a good size. The bar staff were very attentive. Check in & out was straight forward & they had no issues sending a courtesy bus to collect us from the coach station & then to drop us off at the terminal the following day.

Well what an experience. I travel a lot for business that this hotel was not what I expected. Being there for 3 nights. I never had my room clean properly once. No water in the room. No cups or tea bags had to ask for them. Towels not changed or dirty was not removed. Room was not that clean. Bed not that comfortable and pillars even worse. Food was not great had to return meals. The best bit about the food was the sticky toffee pudding. Charged extra to park you car £30 per night. Food was expensive. Not impressed. I use Clayton on a regular basis and I am not sure I would use this place again. I paid more for this hotel than the one next door. When I explained this to reception all she said was "oh ok" customer service also needs work.

Nice hotel with large bedroom. If you choose to purchase breakfast, the selection was good. You can organise a free shuttle to the terminals, but it is also possible to walk from the hotel to Terminal 1-Departures B which was convenient. Hotel also has a restaurant/bar, which we used the night prior to travel.

While the overall property was nice, it was a bit dated. Small things like the table tops in restaurant was scratched and worn. Equipment in gym didn’t function (specifically both exercise bikes had issues). Would stay again due to convenience to airport, but I’d lower my expectations.

Its our go to hotel when travelling to/from Manchester Airport. Good free shuttle bus

Great staff. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Bathroom was ok: needs an extraction fan to remove steam, more towel racks and hooks would help, sink was peeling in a few places and grout in shower had a few dark spots.
