The check-in was quick the staff are very accommodating the room was very clean and quite it was just a overnight stay as we had an early morning flight we where able to leave 1 of our case's behind the reception desk for 4 days until we arrived back which was very helpful

Easy access from airport. Early AM transportation to terminal provided. Amenities for eating excellent , and very friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable, and bathroom very clean.

Great location, service was friendly.
Public areas in bar/resteraunt areas were full of glasses/plates.
Bedroom was not very clean, crumbs on the overthrow on bed, some hair on the bed, one of the towels we had was not clean. No hand sanitiser in lift station. As a hotel where travellers come from across the world expected the cleanliness to be of a much higher standard.

I was very disappointed with the size of the room so I went to check with the staff that it was an executive room we had been given. The receptionist said it was an executive room and I told him it was very underwhelming. I also told him that there were two wet cloths that had been left on the wardrobe that gave the room a musty smell. He just shrugged his shoulders.
I was later showering when I noticed a towel folded on the towel rack that had a stain on it. The stain looked like faeces and it made me feel sick.
We chose this hotel to spend the night before our honeymoon in and we are so disappointed that the special time we had planned was ruined by an unclean room. I did not go back to reception to complain as I had wasted enough of what should have been a special night for us and I didn’t want to be left as frustrated as I was the last time I spoke to the staff.
I have photographs of the towel and of the damp cloths that were left in the room.

One night airport stay. Nice clean modern hotel, clean and comfortable room and beds. Stayed in a family room and there was plenty space for us and our daughters. Only things to improve would be check in experience, the automated check in points dont work and were frustrating to use. You also need to use your keycard for the lifts that wasnt explained to us. Otherwise great stay, lovely buffet breakfast too, couldnt fault it.

I stay at the airport a few times a month but this is the first and last time I use the Clayton. No aircon in the room. Room was incredibly noisy, apart from being placed with the lifts outside the door and a row of industrial fans you can also hear the pipes rattle whenever neighbouring rooms turn on their taps, the tv from the next room and random whirring noises all night.
The restaurant was very impersonal as well. I ordered via a qr code. My drink was delivered without a word and my food
Followed after. I had to ask for cutlery and napkins. Food and drink was good and ok priced but staff were like zombies indifferent to my presence.

The room wasn’t ready, dirty, fridge missing, items broken, staff mean, not enough parking, and got charged £120 for spending 6 minutes in the 5 minute drop off section. Don’t stay here.

The pillows and bed were uncomfortable. The air con was set high and kept switching off. Very hot and uncomfortable night. The food in the restaurant was very expensive and tasted like microwave food. The phone in the room would not ring reception. Will not be staying again.

My room had no Aircon . Was very hot. Was promised a fan by front desk but never arrived. Unbelievable that not all rooms have aircon.Gym closes at 10pm.

Always stay at this hotel but disappointed this time. Our room which was an upgrade had a plug socket that was live to touch and gave me an electric shock. There was also a raised groove in the floor with the floor covering splitting. Bad workmanship! Such a shame because otherwise a good hotel. Maybe just unlucky this time.
