Excellant service from the receptionist, sorry cant remember her name, extremely helpful and friendly. Got into room slightly early which was a bonus.
Quick pickup when we arrived at the train station and prompt return the next morning to the airport, the drivers have always been friendly and helpful

Stayed here for a night before an early flight from Manchester airport. They have a shuttle bus but we just walked it as it was easy to terminal 2 once you knew where you were going. Room was great with 2 double beds and we had a good night's sleep. Bathroom really needed some work, the sink enamel was all gone and looked terrible. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good and available from 5.30am which was brilliant for an early flight. Would stay again.

Clayton was close to the airport for our early flight - staff were helpful and personable - food was good and rooms were large and clean. Only downfall was no AC in our room but they offered us fans.

The Clayton was perfect for what we needed a early morning flight from Manchester airport. They run a shovel, but I didn’t understand you needed to book it. Check-in was a little complicated I checked in online, but it didn’t seem to recognize me. Rooms are perfect. The staff at the bar/restaurant were a little off, but it was perfect for what we needed it for

Rather poor and a bit tatty and dated. Didn’t offer the air conditioned room I’d booked. The room also smelled awful. The smell was from both the bathroom and the room itself including the bed sheets. Eventually they gave me a room I’d booked but the air conditioning didn’t work properly and the bath drain also smelt bad. Overall poor value and a poor hot

Booked it for the airport shuttle services which was excellent. However, although I booked for three adults, there were only two towels in the shower and I had to request additional one. The sink was not working properly [water clogging ]. Not sure how long ago the room was cleaned before we checked in. I expected better than this.

Chose Clayton due to reputation. Found Dorito crumbs in one of the Children’s beds. Coffee cups hadn’t been washed. Visible coffee stains on them. Double bed mattress had a huge stain at the edge. Most likely a spilled drink or we wouldn’t have slept on it.
