Crowne Plaza LONDON - GATWICK AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Lovely hotel, polite staff, large comfortable room and a bathroom with large shower and a bath tub, the toiletries smelt delicious. We ate in the restaurant and the food was hot and very tasty.

The customer service at check-in were very friendly and answered all my questions. My room was good size, clean, and good air conditioning.

Amazing to find a Hôtel with proper working ac. 17 nights in different hotels this trip and this was only one with working ac. I really cannot recommend it enough. My special gratitude to the manager and staff for ensuring that the rooms have proper working ac. I actually got a great nights sleep unlike all the other hotels this trip.

Single EV charging point was occupied from the time we arrived around 9pm to the time we needed to leave in the morning (by the same car). Having a booking system and 1 hour slots rather than 'first come first served' with only a single charging point. I informed the front desk staff, but he was not particularly interested, could have suggested a nearby charging station it would have been something...this is going to be a common problem with more EV's.

Nice comfy beds to rest up before our long haul flight back to Australia.

They made me a Ham Sandwich at 2:00 Am when I checked in and didn’t want to Charge for it , Vert Nice

Excellent location for Gatwick. Nearby shopping and entertainment. Good facilities. Hotel has nice decor and ambiance.

Stayed just one night. Friendly efficient welcome. Comfortable room and bed. Bathroom a bit small but v clean and newly appointed. Great breakfast. Easy checkout. Recommended and would stay again

Stayed here a good few times, so I know what’s available, it’s convenient to walk into town, Food and wine reasonably priced, but please look into the red wine selection by glass, I’d pay more as it’s all like liquid jam!

You cannot change the air on in room, it was so hot we could not sleep properly

Our stay ay Crown Plaza was very goʻd.We had an issue with the air conditioning on the first night ,where the room was too hot.We were given another room that was very acceptable.The staff were really pleasant and keen to ensure our stay at the hotel was a good experience.

Close to airport, stayed only 1 night. Room was clean and spacious. A little noisy at certain points, i guess the kitchen or area where trash is thrown was right outside our bathroom window. The day we were checking out they asked us on several occasions what time we planned to check out. I can understand asking once but we were asked 3 times. One point the staff member mentioned that there was no smoking in the rooms. Well that is standard in all hotels, not sure why they mentioned it the day we were leaving, thats something you do the time of check in. My husband smokes and we stepped outside many times in front of them so was very odd, almost insulting for the staff to happen to mention that to us just minutes before check out. Besides those situations the hotel met our needs but staff needs to have better communication skills
